"I'm not playing with you dude" Arrogant Moira In LFG

So today I joined a LFG group where the leader was this one trick Moira. At first he asked who I was playing and I answered in voice. He apparently couldn’t hear me but everyone else could but since he couldn’t hear me he said answer me you dumb [explicit]. The rest of the team tells him they can hear me and after he leaves and rejoins so he can hear he doesn’t offer an apology on his mistake so I could tell this was going to be a roller coaster.

After he rejoins he starts analyzing my profile for characters I have “thrown” with keep in mind I’m 200 SR above this guy with less time put into this season and he has a winrate of 51% on his Moira while I have a 67% winrate with sombra. He then tells me theres like 8 characters I can win with and 16 I can’t. I’m confused why he looked at every single hero I’ve played for the season just because I filled for a short amount of time doesn’t mean anything. Meanwhile keep in mind this guy has the least flexible profile with 79 hours on Moira alone this season and like a small amount on torb. He then tells me he won’t play with me then kicks me. After that I went on a winstreak. Seriously whats wrong with people who play this game???

Leaders of LFG groups tend to be control freaks

They get to control the category choice for each of the six slots, but they want to control more, a lot more

Not always the case, but generally so

Set your expectations accordingly when joining a LFG group

Aside - the “answer me” remark is reportable as phrased

nice post - the fact you had a one-trick moria still stuck in silver telling YOU how to play… sums up a lot of the community.

Moria is easy to climb - they sound like most of the idiots who are meta slaves. it doesn’t work at low levels and there is a reason… if they don’t understand why, they will stay at the rank they belong still blaming someone else.

As an lfg group leader I’d agree. Though I tend to try to be less of a b**** about things.

I usually make groups like “I plan to shot call” or “main your role”. I kick those who refuse to join voice (though I don’t require a mic). And those who clearly don’t play the role they signed up for (taking both winrates and playrates together into account). Also if they have the account hidden I’ll ask them and they usually say they play everything. A weird trend is that if we have a team of all people with good winrates we tend to win allot :thinking:

He said at the very end and just kicked me for no reason. I thought the first part was just a misunderstanding which it was but he still was being difficult

Lots of LFG leaders kick you without saying anything.

It’s unfortunate, but the leader decides who stays and who goes, with or without legit reasons. That’s just how it works at present.

Sure he had the power too but he didn’t have to be rude right off the bat. Can’t even apologize for his mistake meanwhile he is some hardstuck silver player

Thanks dude I have to say I work my tail off to climb with Sombra. Its the dps I’ve faced the most backlash with but I’ve won the most with meanwhile this dude plays an easy hero probably never switched to benefit his team. Moira can’t give decent pockets like zen or mercy

There have been a few times I was in a group and was going quite well. If I admit to any fault I’ve had people straight up kick me with zero communication. It’s quite frustrating, but you have to remind yourself if they kick you for that you don’t want to play with them.

Hopefully he has lost some SR today. I intend to quit after plat I can’t deal with too much more of this ignorance. People just make this game unfun

As a gold lfg group maker, I’d love to have your Sombra. 5 hours with an 80% winrate? That’s absolutely rediculas.

Not all 1 tricks are like him :yum:
I honestly wouldn’t care if you had a 30% winrate on sombra, I’d be fine with you playing her if we were ever on a team(Which isn’t likely :sweat:)
