It took me a while to remember that today is patch day. Which means a big balancing patch is inbound.
And I don’t look foward to it. Whenever there was a patch coming, I never looked forward to the changes - I always braced myself for what they mess up. Overwatch just has such historically bad balancing that it’s best to assume the bad rather than the good.
I mean, when was the last good patch since release of OW2?
Vacation, despite it’s momentary shortcomings, at least allows me to watch everything catch fire from a comfy distance.
But I still think the incoming patch will be especially atrocious - the last two patches were surprisingly good, for their standards. Which means they have suppressed everything that might get us blown up today.
Sort of. Idk, almost every new OW2 patch for me has the same effect that a really terrible car crash does, it’s genuinely quite upsetting and you wish it didn’t happen, but you just can’t help but stare at it in awe of the sheer destruction.
Today, I turned the game on. Saw Classic was gone, saw my hero mastery courses were gone.
I switched the game off and went to download fortnite. Probably going to call it quits for now and just hang out on the forums until blizzard comes to their senses again.
