Ball is definitely a good pick for someone wanting to stay friendless.
By the time you get good with him, you’re on 90% of your teammate’s avoid lists and nobody likes you.

Doomfist , no?

If you want to be hated by all players on both teams this is what you should do:

Tank: One trick Ball.
Support: One trick Moira.
Dps: One trick Junkrat.

Junkrat ? How? He can erase whole enemy team and be praise by own team

Well this kind of thing is why the enemy team hates him.

Oh my sweet summer child…

Reaper, obviously. And make sure to charge away from your teammates and get killed because you’re out of position

Battle Mercy! No beams, just glock!

Hey, once I tire(ed) entire enemy team on last seconds on point and we won that game, some team mate said : nice tire Junk! It was few years ago. So please dont tell me that Junk doesn’t have recognition

Lucio. you will get occasional compliments, hate from many, and even if you’re good you won’t get friend requests

Since asking AI for answers to OW posts is getting popular here, I decided to try:

> I'm lonely Overwatch player but I don’t want any friends in the game. Which hero should I pick?

AI:

As an AI language model, I cannot make decisions for you, but I can provide some suggestions based on your preferences. If you enjoy playing solo matches in Overwatch, there are several heroes who excel at taking down enemies alone without necessarily requiring teamwork.

:ok_hand: :pensive:

One such character is Widowmaker, a sniper specialist known for her accuracy and long-range damage potential. Her ability to tag targets and deal massive damage from afar makes her ideal for solo play.

So far so good!

Another option could be Roadhog, a tank character famous for his high health pool and devouring abilities that allow him to heal himself by eating enemy players. [!!] His chain grapple skill also allows him to quickly close gaps and initiate melee combos effectively.

Wat :joy:
(Serious question: Any of you Roadhog players want this as a rework?)

Alternatively, if you prefer support roles, Lucio, the speedster with his wall-riding and healing powers, might suit your taste. He can easily escape situations while supporting allies with movement speed boosts and healing abilities. Ultimately, choose a hero whose playstyle aligns best with how you like to play and have fun!

I agree.

Now for my take. Personally, I’d just play Mercy if wanted to turn my brain off (and maybe chat too) and play with randoms of any skill level, serious play or not. But in all honestly, any support and any DPS (especially snipers or flankers) will do well at holding their own in solo play with minimal to no teamwork if you’re trying to play your role correctly. Steer clear of tanking in solo play; otherwise if you’re a masochist and enjoy increasing your stress, then just play the meta tank and tab after killing the enemy tank, making sure to return to spawn to swap to counter the enemy’s tank with the meta counter. Don’t expect random players to support you properly, if at all, when tanking, It is why I go out of my way to play with friends when I’m queuing up to tank if I wish to play more than a few games withing quitting my gaming session in frustration.
