I'm having trouble reopening this ticket US101176722

So I have the game on stream where my tank and team reported me for not playing well one guy told me to kill myself while my tank called me slurs, fat, etc and even proceeded to curse me out so of course I told him that he’s reported. I exchanged a few words like a civilized person of course. I did no cursing and a few hours later I got suspended from the game for multiple reports. and although I explained in my ticket what had transpired, they gave me a response as though I was the guy using profanity. is there a way that the GM’s can show me what I said to get suspended. That’s all I want to see here was the response that I have gotten

Greetings, thank you for contacting Blizzard Customer Support.
This is GM Osphyr at your service!

I understand that you wish to appeal a recent suspension to your Overwatch 2 account.

All players are responsible for the actions of their account, no matter who is playing.

When participating in communication of any kind (chat, voice communication, group finder), you are responsible for how you express yourself. You may not use language that could be offensive or vulgar to others.

Hate speech and discriminatory language is inappropriate, as is any obscene or disruptive language. Threatening or harassing another player is always unacceptable, regardless of language used. Violating any of these expectations will result in account restrictions. More serious and repeated violations will result in greater restrictions.

After consideration of your account details, we will not be overturning the account penalties.

All the best,
GM Osphyr

Yes it takes about 3 tickets for them to get an actual person to respond. What you received was an automated message.

I also had a 14 day suspension now and i havent even used chat
Worst report system ever and people are abusing it

Getting reported in a single game is not usually enough to catch a suspension. It is likely you’ve been reported before this incident by other people in multiple other games.

Also: you don’t usually get insta-suspended, it is usually a chat silence on the first offence. Which means you’ve either been actioned before, or what you said in your ‘civil conversation’ wasn’t quite as civil as you believed it was.

You don’t have to use profanity for what you say to be against ToS.

Having said all that: what was said to you was really not ok and I sincerely hope the instigators also got their accounts actioned.

I also feel you deserve a record of your chat logs to outline the kinds of things you have been reported for (so, in the even you have been falsely reported, you can actually appeal.)

There is no way for anyone here to help with the ticket, that’s a CS only thing. Open a new ticket if you’re having issues with the old one. Explain that you would like to see a log of the kinds of things you have been reported for.

Anyway, I hope you get your issue resolved.

so many people have been suspended or banned due to a flawed system honestly i wish automated systems like what team 4 is using was illegal like it clearly cant tell a legit from a troll report

I do agree that there is an element of human oversight missing from the system. But I’m not sure there is a CS team large enough to correct the issue. I’d say this was an MS problem, but Blizzard have been ‘downsizing’ their CS department long before the acquisition.

Group finder… nothing with this name exists anymore

Copy the email. Send it to Microsoft in Washington State. let them know about it.

They bought Acti-blizzard. they need to know about it.

nope, you’ve seen about as much help or competence you’re going to get from submitting a ticket.

Say nothing in game or chat. At least you have your stream for proof. but the system is trash, abused and game masters are, as you’ve seen, low level ai

Whats their email i will gladly send it
