Blizzard why do I have 120 fps?!

Game Reinstalled
Every other game running fine
CPU usually at around 70-80 Utilization, Peaked at 95 once
GPU usually at 30-40%
Memory at 53% (8.5/16)

And obviously playing on FullScreen mode, all other programs closed. Nothing running in the background, checked system tray, checked task manager, checked services.
It’s literally just OW

you should be getting 160fps all maxed out

while playing OW, open task manager and check GPU usage
see if it at ~100%

Did you buy a new PC or has this been happening for a while now ?
and set the power plan in the control panel to high performance.

95% cpu looks like bottlenecking, but this should not happen with this cpu

Got a new CPU like a year ago and I could easily get 300 fps.
Then over time it got less and less and less and now I’m at this point.

Could you run MSI Afterburner in game and check your clocks during stress?

Also, 50% render scale? Really? That’s like PS2 resolution.

In-game resolution setting?

I typically run it at 2560x1440(144). One day my frames were all messed up and realized that somehow it was switched to 2560x1440(60). I think it’s related to the issue where the game opens in Windowed despite me always using Fullscreen.

No that’s just an estimate.
It’s usually ranges between 110-130
It’s set to unlimited fps, not display based.
My resolution is 2560x1440(165*)
