I just had to leave a game before it began because I got matched with two top 500 on the opposite team. I got penalised for 50 minutes; the game hadn’t even started

Why leave? Nothing forced to exit the game. If Matchmaker is that bad just play for performance and move on to the next game. There’s no such thing as a ranked Ladder Matchmaker anymore. It Just fills with random players for minimum queue times as support is dead and that role needs to get filled by any warm body.

Do you honestly think it would be fun for ANYONE to play that game? I never even said they were healers.
“There’s no such thing as skillbased matchmaking anymore” I never said there was, I’m just upset (as anyone would be if they were in me and my friends situation) that it has come to this

So earn you leaver penalty because even though you most likely wouldn’t have won you never know. There’s a reason the USA hockey team’s win over Russia was called “The Miracle on Ice”.

All because I didn’t want to ruin me and my friends mood by getting ripped into pieces in comp by top 500 players.
Me or my friends don’t want to go into a RANKED game knowing we would get absolutely destroyed. What is the fun in that? What would that teach me?

18 is the new 10 year old. We live to 90 now. An 18 year old cannot be trusted to rent a car or drink booze. Your only good for joining in wars and voting. Everything else your still inexperienced.

the fun would lie in playing with the best. Even though that match was a loss it gave you a rare taste of what it would be like facing top 500s. Dont let the win or loss affect ur mood, improve and have fun and climb as much as you can. Good luck in your games
