I'm getting really tired of Dynamite... 😕

You can have an instant 70-Damage on the explosion, or you can have an extremely long Damage-Over-Time effect… but not both.

I understand Dynamite is like this because it’s considered a “skill-shot” but I’m sorry, something you throw that will basically land exactly where your reticle is from any distance for you to shoot without really any effort, is not a “skill-shot”.

I get the feeling it will be nerfed by allowing the enemy team to destroy it. Right now, once it’s thrown out there, the enemy team have no choice but to get out the way or take the damage. It makes it a little easy. Making it destroyable will separate better Ashe players from simply throwing out whenever they have it.

If it was destroyable itd be useless.
Its not too hard to get away from even though the burn damage is incredibly annoying.

I never die to it as an armored hero. Dynamite has some properties that make it easy to manage.

It’s pretty crazy I agree. I always underestimate the area of effect of it… it actually covers a pretty large area. Playing against a good Ashe makes you want to pull your hair out.

So either make it a skill shot where Ashe has to shoot it to blow it up, make it killable or allow the DOT to be removed when people get healing.

As it is, sure you can ‘‘walk away from it’’ but it has a 5 meter area of effect that basically takes up a third of a point, its kind of dumb levels of zoning on a 10 second CD, that deals up to 175 dmg per target. Even if no one dies to it, its stupid levels of ult charge or zoning that promotes just spamming it on CD.

D’Va can’t even delete it.

OMG No, it wouldn’t. Players will just have to think better about when to toss it.

It at least forces Ana to use bionade on herself and not offensively, its pretty fun ability.

Yeah, that irks me a bit. Not even specifically that Defense Matrix doesn’t work, but that there’s just nothing to do about it at all besides run away for 5 seconds. It doesn’t fizzle/detonate if it hits a barrier, it can’t be eaten by Matrix, and it can’t be disarmed/destroyed by enemy shots, even when it’s just sitting on the ground.

It’s just really annoying to see a thing and, no matter what character you are, have only one available response to avoid taking major damage from it: Run.

It needs some counter-play for sure.

Came in here to bring this up. This might be the one change that’ll get me to think “yeah, this ability is fine”.

What if the DoT effect only happened when Ashe shoots it and not if it goes of normally?

Not sure myself. Just thought it would be an interesting idea to share

With bullets flying everywhere in this game and Ashe being a kinda midrange character the dynamite would probably 90% of the time explode on her face xD just saying
