This is ridiculous. Nearly every game is ruined by aimbots and other hacks. I just left a game where Mercy had her ultimate up for the entire round. She was spinning like a maniac (aimbot) and headshotting anyone in her FOV. There has to be a way for Blizzard to curb this behavior. As is plying Overwatch 2 is a waste of time.

There was about 2 videos from Flats showing the 5 stacks of cheaters now. It’s getting worse. Oh and the XIM issue on console is still there, all they did is make new accounts (no phone number needed for em) and they still torment high elo. I’ve stopped taking it seriously.
Waiting for Marvel Rivals where I can have fun on tank again.

Until these games begin pressing charges against people and suing them for cheating in games. It wont end.
Free 2 play substantially makes the problem worse. But the problem is growing to the point of game companies are going to have to come up with more restrictions and gamers are not going to like it when it happens.
A dull future to the gaming industry:
1 ) back tracing the player’s ISP and filing charges in court against them for cheating. (Lawsuits, criminal charges).
2 ) Requiring Government Issued ID to purchase access a game (in person at a store).

Free to play is making it easy for hackers and cheaters to thrive. I haven’t noticed any myself, but I have no doubt they’re likely in a lot of my matches.
Its funny how TF2 probably has less cheaters now…

Dude, I was going ham with Magik and Hela. On tank i actually felt power with Magneto (with or without the scarlet witch) and with Dr Strange. Venom is just WAY too fun. Can’t wait for the next time we can log on! We got da skin ahahha.

I found every role in the game fun which is rare for me. Usually a DPS only kinda person but there were characters for every role that I had tons of fun with. MR deffo cooking.

ive never seen it myself but people say theyve seen it…and flats is always posting videos about it so it must be true.
cheaters are winning the fight. the only way to curb cheating is the companies will have to take drastic measures that they are not willing to do. As long as one side plays by a moral code and the other does not, the cheaters will always win.
Thats a bit harsh…but its the truth.
Rampant cheaters are the best indicator that this game is dying, They can cope all they want with their new cosmetic updates, heroes or balances, but until they start dealing with actual problems this game is doomed to become either abandonware or cheater HvH grounds like TF2. The cheating is so bad that I have more games with cheaters than legit players now. I keep taking longer and longer breaks from this game, there is almost no fun left when you have to face scriptkiddies every match.

I even got ddosd after the first round. Only stopped after I said something in chat. This was console comp btw.
It is getting to extreme levels. Like as much as I love this game it almost doesn’t feel good to play anymore when playing against the toggle cheaters. They are everywhere. And they just don’t care to have an honest game. That juice from getting better at the flick of a switch is too good to give up. I still wish for an honest game and when I do get one….this is the goat. This game. Games without cheaters….ill say it, are almost non existent these days. In one form or another, it is nearly all the time now and it’s becoming the norm. So many people do it that they protect each other in game. Yeah.

There are too many people that don’t miss their shots and have perfect tracking. I just learned about trigger bots and it makes sense.

Those Mercy are ridiculous op, they can fly, teleport, blink, use invisibility and cast swarms of toxic nanobots that make your hero move slower and disturb your aim !

Bot makers being banned left and right, most bots get banned within the hour. Most of the major bot makers have had steam bans now. And valve is being stricter on letting people come back from bans, you can no longer dispute a ban.
Well, that’s something I guess. But the real problem is still the cheaters. Average casual match is 60-70% cheaters.
