Yes the city its based on is pretty, yes you can get epic hook kills in the well, but that’s all it has going for it. It’s about as high quality a map as Busan. Yet by the votes you’d think it was Lijang quality

both maps are equally as bad
Illios well where you gotta play hog.
Lijiang bridge where you can get booped out of spawn.
The other points are solid though.
Oasis is GOATED and these noobs keep vetoing it

All the KOTH maps are terribly designed, really.
It’s a perfect mode, but the maps just suck.
Oasis is probably the best one, but it’s still got awful choke spam issues.

Um…no you don’t. There are plenty of heroes with boop/push abilities.
Did you forget Lucio, Pharah, Brig, Orisa, Ashe, Venture, Rein, Hazard and Zarya?

Is it? I’ve generally thought its not a favorite map for many. Personally not a fan but I dont mind playing it sometimes.
So far i’ve played it quite little or average amount, Lijiang is the most popular koth map what i get.
Illinois is equally bad.
i live near to illinois, never cared for it much but i drived through chicago once in a while. been to south chicago as well a long time ago. just once and never again heh

Imo all koth maps are goated except Antarctica and nepal.
I like nepal but it’s not goated.
Antarctica is the Numbani of koth.
But they did it right with samoa. Great map that one.
Also Ilios is not overrated. It is rated. It has a little something for everyone. But you left out what maps people are choosing ilios over. Did it actually compete with lixiang for votes or was it up against crud?
