Healing Pylon
- Heal decreased from 40 to 30.
- Shields decreased from 75 to 50.
Captive Sun
- Projectile Impact and explosion are now blocked by barriers.
- Projectile size decreased from 1.5 to 0.75 meters.
- Sunstruck duration decreased from 7 to 6 seconds.
So the health one is needed and good, happy about that.
Heal decreas is a laughable one, It still heals at 37.5 HPS, witch is still really high considering she also has 60 hps w/ reload on her secondary
Meaning she averages about ~97 HPS witch is still rediculus.
As for the ult, the duration decrease is nice but still 6 seconds is a very long time.
Also making the projectile half the size is a massive buff! This is just gonna make clenses even more powerfull becuase its harder to deflect/eat it down.
Overall a step in the right direction, but IMO not nearly enough.

i still want to see how represented she is on top 500 ladders. too early for that. of course i still think ana is the strongest support and will remain so for a very long time

Why couldn’t they just buff the pylon. Or make the ult summon a massive healing pylon, or given her 2 pylons. I love ai controlled pet turret things.

Ult blockable by barriers is a step into the wrong direction. Barriers are already too good and block way too much stuff. They pretty much only don’t block melee-type abilities and maybe 1-2 outliers. It’s too good for a thing with no CD. It was good for once there was something added that ignores barriers. But throughout OW lifetime they always had barriers as a holy grail and let them block everything. No wonder they failed to balance double-barriers.

The funny part was we had symettra who used to pierce shields with her orb, had they left that in i wounder if double barriers would have been a thing?

Thank god they didn’t nerf her damage. It’s the best thing about her.

I dont think anyone complained about her damage, more so her ult and turret,
Also much harder to land though.
And I thought her nerfs were coming next week? When did they already change her?
I dont think they reduced the explosion radius just the projectile size, need to confirm though

This doesn’t really matter cause the projectile itself does like 5 damage. The only time this is a noticeable nerf is if like you need to hit a flier and there’s no nearby surface to use the 8m splash.
Some saying it’s too much, others too little.
Can’t you all pick the same thing to gripe about?
Maybe I just don’t understand her ult then, doesn’t the orb have to land on someone for it to even work? Like if I hit the floor or the wall with it, what happens?

On two cooldowns.
Meanwhile, Moira, Baptiste, Lucio, Brigitte and Ana are healing over that with two cooldowns.
I’m moderately sure that you can hit the floor/wall/etc. and it can still afflict people with the status. Think of it as kinda a Sigma ult that instead of yanking people into the air, sticks a detonatable Pulse Bomb on anyone with the radius.

I went into the training range to check this out and holy crap you don’t even need to hit anywhere near a player for it to activate on them, it’s ridiculously forgiving, wth.
I’ve been specifically aiming for bodies because I thought if you missed, that was it, it just fizzles away and you wasted your ult. Lmao I’ve been making it so hard for myself this whole time.

Your team gets the potential to wipe as long as you can aim at the floor or wall. Not a huge burden, you do not even need to do anything after that if your team has functional hands.
Why would it go through barriers it makes no sense. No other projectile in the game goes through shields except fire strike and moira orb so why should her ult
I bet your update hasn’t even downloaded yet and you’re on here complaining. Wait a week and then your complaints are valid
