Looking at perks, which given for other supports and for Illari. Perks even don’t fix her issue and also Juno and Ana receices 2x critshots… How “DPS” support with 1.5x crit modificator and burning have to compete with heal bot support who has insane mobility cassidy’s ult as usual ability and complete 2x crit shots?
2x? they can crit with the perk… now, they can’t.
This also assumes there won’t be a balance patch in s15 which is not a good assumption.
Her perks are boring imo, and there’s nothing they can do to adjust the balance of the surrounding game to change that. An actual decent Illari perk would be:
Landing shots prefills Illari’s gun with 25% charge for her next shot. Headshots double it to 50%.
Illari’s perk is to look at Kiriko’s perks and play her instead.
Illari’s perks aren’t the worst, but yeah. Playing favorites is what they did - that’s clear as day from those “perks”.
I guess, blizzard are proud of themselves releasing Juno. They love hero who has terrible design (nooby for competetive game and overpowerful as support). That’s shows which heroes will flourish in OW. Also that’s why Ana got insane crazy perks, but what have other supports also?
So also saw some poster of Blizzard and there was Juno… OW face always was Tracer, but, no, this game need to roll around Juno (and Ana)
I love Juno too though. She’s my second favorite support after Illari.
Rapid Construction: Healing Pylon builds 300% faster and its cooldown is reduced by 1.5 seconds.
I think this is good. Lets you move your pylon around or in mid fight more often.
Summer Solstice: Illari’s flight time during Captive Sun is increased by three seconds and her flight speed is increased by 20%.
The duration I don’t care because I just want to shoot with the ult and I don’t want to linger in the air, but the speed is good to move into position after cast or escape.
Solar Power: Fully charged Solar Rifle hits grant 12.5 percent of your maximum solar energy, overfilling up to 50 percent.
This one seems good for heal support. It’s kinda like Moira absorb? You can get your heal charge back faster and heal a bit longer with the beam
Sunburn: Outburst ignites enemies, dealing an additional 70 damage over three seconds.
This is pretty solid, it’s 25 damage +70 over time. It puts in kill range after the knock back. Although 3 seconds seems like a long time for the burn

It looked decent from watching the streamers test it. Not only does it add the extra charge capacity to the heal beam, but helps to fill it faster from empty.
This one sounds insanely powerful. Three seconds might sound like a long time, but that’s still more DPS than Ashe’s dynamite. You’ll be able to get kills with two bodyshots outburst on 225 health heroes, or 250 health heroes with one being a headshot. As a reminder outburst has a radius of 8.5 metres, the same size as Orisa’s ultimate detonation circle. She’s going to deal some serious AoE damage.
Im just not sold on the burning perk. In my mind, i guess the only people that would be that close are flankers, but most of them have some self cleanse anyway or can out range her 8.5 meter aoe. I just don’t see it bringing any real value unless your illari is straight trolling by walking into 5 people just to hear a bunch of tick noises or to farm the world’s most counterable ult.
Personally, I’d rather take the health resource regen because that would help her during her broken pylon cd.
