3 nerfs? I am not commenting dmg nerf, but putting 2 nerfs on her pylon will leave her with no heal for too long. It´s the worst thing, when you are not able to heal your team.
Also LW heal getting nerfed is sad.
Really can´t wait for getting hate, when I will pick them.

She has a right click heal too. I know, most illari players don’t know because they only do dmg after the pylon stands, but yes illari can actually heal away from their pylon! Unbelievable, isn’t it?

I’d be fine with her pylon not getting nerfs, and her primary fire being a proper hitscan hitbox. Sure it’s smaller now, but still too big. Guess we shall see where she lands from this. She has been like the highest win rate hero. I don’t think the health nerf matters much. But the 3s longer cd does.

This was probably a big reason for these nerfs. I can count on both hands the amount of times I’ve seen an illari use her secondary fire. Good illaris will have pylon out of LOS anyways so the hp nerf isn’t bad.
What’s nuts is that she had a two tap hitscan that was the size of a hanzo arrow. Now this change will shift her 80/20 dps heal output more along the lines of a 60/40

Illari was easily the best support, so her seeing the harshest nerfs is unsurprising. Still, I’m worried about her. Pylon at 100 HP now dies to explosives in a single shot, as well as abilities like Virus and Firestrike. Combined with the longer cooldown it may prove to be just a bit too much.

you probably don´t know, but when you use that thing, it has to recharge and than you can be left without healing for a while…
I actualy rebinded my mouse to put her healing as primary fire - as it if for every support, cause it was confusing. I am actualy using that thing.
The nerfs don’t even look bad on paper.
The primary is purely a nerf for people with bad aim. It’s still an oversized hitscan shot so as long as you’re actually aiming well it doesn’t have any impact.
The pylon nerfs punish poor placement and don’t even lower her power. All of the nerfs are raising her skill floor but not addressing her being overpowered when played well.
Calling it right now that she’ll get nerfed again as it won’t have that much of an impact in top ranks as the other supports were toned down just as much or more in some cases.

I switched to her from Kiriko. Kiriko has never felt right to me after the huge nerfs she got. Now I wasted my time on another hero who got butchered. I’m quitting support and going to clog up the DPS queue. I’m sick of the nerfs.
Nerfed in the last patch. It runs out quickly and is short ranged. She’s going to be awful with this pylon nerf.

I can still play her well, but she will be trash tier below diamond.
Devs will look at it and will buff her again.
As a tank player I don’t think this is a huge worry, because i’m always the one destroying the turret

I disagree. I disagree with the damage nerf, it was unneeded, but id even argue they needed to hit her pylon harder than they did.
He needed it. He has good damage, good long range healing, insanely good survivability and one of the strongest utility abilities in the game.

Nerfing the size of her projectile indirectly nerfs her damage for a majority of the playerbase.

Illari was B tier for most people and is trash now because tracer, ball, genji, reaper and sombra can’t effectively kill the pylon fast enough. .
Lifeweaver was made to be a healbot and now has been punished for being a healbots after being barely playable for a quarter of his release time.
Zen is a mixed bag but something has to be done because discord and one tank is admittedly awful design.
And the actual problem supports Ana Kiriko and Baptiste get what? Almost nothing?
And the support that needed the ‘increase the window of oppurtunity’ that the devs mentioned, Mercy, got nothing at all.
And no compensation buffs.
And sombra Orisa and Zarya remain untouched or even buffed.
Madness.
But fine.
Support was always the backbone of any team. But the blatant disrespect for the role since beta 2 from the devs has reached a fever pitch now.
Won’t support game financially any further. Time to switch to tank or the easy role.

Support has always had this stereotype that they have been pummeled with nerfs and been disrespected. This has been true in the past, but right now, and for the last few seasons, they have been the lords and the rest of us the peasants.
