AKJ complaining about support nerfs and I’m here for it. 
I think the nerf is probably fair but I’m a little surprised they didn’t take power out of pylon instead. At the same time though, I understand that they want her healing to be largely automated so she can focus on DPS. I certainly wouldn’t want that playstyle to change, but I’m not sure they chose the best nerf.
More importantly, I solo sunned Hanzo 4 times in one match today and I liked it.

lol I always try to sun Mercy and it never works. She either flies away or I swear I shoot her three times and it still doesn’t explode. I’m probably panicking and spamming the primary at low charge. 
But outside of that, yeah. She’s great at killing Mercy. Much better than most DPS tbh.

It already heals very little. idk what they can take away more from it, at this point is pylon is a perceived issue.
The only nerf I would have done to her is reducing her headshot damage to 110.

I’m not sure either. The ideas I’ve seen thrown around are remove the shields and reduce the HP for the benefit of tanks, which might be fair since it’s easy to place it where many tanks struggle to access it. I’m not really sure though. I’ll just wait and see how she feels.

What is the point of having 225 hp if they are going to make things exactly 2 tap her anyways.

Illary dont need nerf on heal , she need nerf on him damage.
Who need more heal its just zen, him heal its very poor.
The nerf on heal was uncalled for, especially on a support with no impactful utility.

? Seeing as she gets to choose where the pylon goes she can always have her own healing pocket. Her sustain is pretty good. Heroes like Zen have it far worse with no reliable self sustain.
That being said her healing isn’t a problem I feel. Her consistent, easy to aim damage is more of an issue as well as her ult being such an easy team fight win.
Oh please, that’s not true at all. Illari’s healing has been amazing. Pylon alone is a good, consistent source of healing that auto-prioritizes the lowest health target. Her healing beam before the nerf did 120 healing per second. No support in the game does that amount of burst healing. Moira does 70 per second. Bap does 70 per grenade. Ana does 70 per shot. 120 is close to Moira’s ult (140 healing per second) in terms of burst healing. The resource meter barely matters, because her pylon is still healing regardless of the meter and the resource refills quick. The healing nerf was necessary because a tank would NOT die when being healed by Illari’s healing plus the pylon healing them too or healing other allies at the same time with zero thought once the pylon is placed.
No, the nerf was absolutely necessary. Compare her to Zen for a sec. She does almost as much damage. She does WAYYYY more healing, easily capable of bursting up a tank with her secondary fire. Her pylon alone does more healing than Zen and he has to keep track of his allies and swap who orb is on by prioritizing who to heal himself, whereas pylon does that automatically with no thought after being placed. She also has mobility, another thing Zen lacks.
She doesn’t have a ton of utility, just a knockback and the sunstruck effect of her ult, but her ability to get picks is wayyy too high to have that amount of healing. Because of her ridiculous healing output, she can place down pylon, go full DPS (unlike every other support that has to weave damage in between healing), and then just use secondary fire on allies when they are on very low to burst them back up. Because unlike most supports, her burst healing actually can outdo most damage.
When comparing Illari to Zen you gotta remember how strong discord is.
You say how easy pylon is to set up, but his harmony and discord are just as easy and take probably less thought. Discord is instant value
His harmony orb has way more range than Illari’s heal too, Illari needs to be right up on the tank where she can get punished.
AKJ logic:
-Support with a 23% winrate = terrible, broken, no-skill, delete please
-Support he likes to play = skillful, didn’t need nerfed, enjoys “dunking” on others, especially those who play that stupid 23% winrate support

They should have given her some kind of compensation buff. She already has reliability issues with her healing. That paper plyon is not enough.
