I hope this works. My friend is sad/angry that over 5 years of collecting has been washed down the drain.
He has tried everything he could and still nothing. I really hope this works.

I was able to get in the account merge queue around an hour or 2 after launch. One of my accounts was not able to press the merge button, but one was and once I pressed it said it would take under a minute then I closed that screen then another popped up saying it was complete and I needed to close the game, so I closed the game and I reopened waited in queue got in and the account merge was still in queue
They should fix it and get everyone’s progress back just don’t want to wait a week to play a game I was waiting years to enjoy and play.
I started the merge process about 9pm last night, here it is 15 hours later and I’m still in the merge queue. I have all the stuff on my pc account. meanwhile my xbox account is in a half-merged state where the stats have merged, and I can SEE the skins I have unlocked but not actually use any of them
my merge account button also does not work and im on xbox. Last time I was on ow1 it showed my battle.net was linked and it is linked on ow2 so I honestly just dont understand what to do
My account merge option doesn’t work either, it doesn’t even react when i click on it. Was this similar to the issue you were having yesterday? I have legit been having panic attacks about this because im not 100% sure if i merged accounts properly, i had all my skins in the Beta but im not 100% if that is indicative of the full game. Im hoping that having my skins back in the beta was a sign my account was merged properly
It also showed up on my account ps5. My main acc is also the playstation one and my battle net was used for a short time on pc. And because of that I have all my stuff from pc on psn.
Did you made new battle net for your console? Or how did you set your ps4 as main account to manage?
on PS4. After linking my battle.net account my account has been fully wiped (100s of hrs of progress, legendary skins, everything). “account merge” button on the main menu doesn’t do anything when I click it. at this point i’m scared to even play a game of OW2 in case it messes up the merge
Im not getting a merge account button at all 
all i want is all my atuff from ps4 on xbox as i have the mercy donation skin and so many gold guns and skins as i bought soooo many lootboxes

Hey Morbin, update: I was just able to get into the game. My Account Merge is still in queue. I was “80,000 in queue” when I first logged in. I played one quick play match. Maybe 5 minutes or so. Now it says I’m “74,000 in queue”. I have no idea if these numbers actually mean anything, but it’s a small bit of progress, so I’ll take it. I’ll check back again if/when the merge is successful.

So I have only played ow on my Xbox and all my skins from ow1 are gone and my heroes are locked so I still have to merge if this is the only account I’ve played on

Problems with Account Merge (Missing Player Items/Data)
Tl;dr: You have not lost any items or progress, though some players are logging in and seeing some/all elements missing from their collection.

Idk about you but I merged my account and it was still nothing, no cosmetics, no skins, golden guns, no nothing. Im sad, i feel like ill never get them again :[[[[
Hi, not sure if you know but I don’t even have the merge account button everyone is talking about… It’s just not there for me. Also, I only have my stuff I had on pc not Xbox, I’ve played hundreds of hours on Xbox and have so many cosmetics.
