You may as well be throwing. Its just silly there used to be a way around this by using LFG but they took that away now i have to deal with soft throwers every match cause their scared of a little constructive criticism

Voice chat is largely irrelevant for competitive and even more so now that the ping system is in place.

many players dont even have headphones or mics, and those that do arent required to have them on

as such, no, this is never throwing

my everday life in console OW. You get these options

  1. Nobody but you in chat.
  2. everyone in chat but no body listens.
    3.3 people in chat 1 person talks other 2 don’t listen
  3. 5 people in chat 2 of which use their in game comms but don’t actually speak
  4. 1 person in chat that will actively take strategies and things but don’t talk.
  5. 5 people in chat that all talk and have a good time and win the game. (0.0000002% chance)

I play worse if I join voice chat so I’d be throwing if I joined it.

I would uninstall OW if they made voice chat mandatory.

Nobody is playing the game to listen to some 12yo child malding in VC telling others how to play the game…

Ranks are here to judge players performance, not some randos on the internet.

Below Masters nothing will ever be said in VC that’s valuable. You criticizing others gameplay is NOT gonna win you the match, quite the opposite, you’re just distracting and upsetting ppl making them play worse.
