Idk how bad your first mouse has to be to even have such a huge impact.
Everything is adjustable within the game and most mice comes with several dpi modes too.

Unless you already have top tier hardware, PC performance and refresh rate has much bigger impact on aiming.

Personally I prefer to play from the Lua command line.
