I’ve noticed that I’m getting reported for the most mild comments ever. Someone on my team insults me and I say “I’m doing great, look at my stats”…reported.
Someone on the other team teabags me and I end up winning and say “how’d that teabag work out for you” …reported.
Clearly these are broken automated system that are warning my account for “abusive chat,” so I’m going to be reporting for everything that I get reported for.
If a player says ANYTHING to me that is not a compliment they get reported. Asking me to go Orisa is the same as saying that my hero isn’t good enough and that’s abusive so I’m reporting.
Using a voice line that I don’t like gets reported because I shouldn’t have to hear things I don’t like.
Asking me a question gets reported because I don’t like to type and typing makes me vulnerable so reported. So, “how are you?” gets reported. If I tell them I reported them and they ask “why?” they get reported a second time.
Not saying “gg” gets reported because it’s rude and poor sportsmanship and insinuates it was a bad game which makes me feel non-positive so reported.
If the other team wins and says “gg” they get reported because clearly it wasn’t good for me since I lost and I think they’re being sarcastic and sarcasm is a reportable offense in Overwatch.
Accusing me of cheating even if I decide to download cheats and use them at a later date gets reported.
Typing just “?” in chat gets reported.
Having a name that remind me of something negative that happened in my life at any time gets reported.
Not saying anything in chat to avoid getting reported gets reported because it’s making assumptions that I would report them for anything.
Keep reporting anything you mildly don’t like until they fix their broken report system.
Basically people have learned that if they don’t like you for any reason then just get the entire group to report and you’re almost at a suspension. As a test one time I only complimented my teammates when they were playing poorly.
So basically, if a player on my team was 2 kills 15 deaths I would say “You’re doing great , really fantastic.”
I only said positive things ever and still got a warning from the Overwatch system. That’s right folks, you can be banned in overwatch for only saying nice things if it’s perceived as sarcastic.
Of course you would. Because you are quite bitter about your experiences in game. I can’t remember the last salty game I had. The odd grumpy player, but they tend to shut up when they realise the rest of the team is happy communicating.
I’ve turned off all my chats i only use ping system now. It always turns back on when i close out my game and I’ve noticed, legitimately, the games after i turn then off always go well for my team. In the roll or get rolled meta that’s currently running in the comp system, I’ll be on the rolling team in my chats are muted. Try that… i went on a losing steal a few weeks ago of like 2W 12. Of course by then you’re frustrated and likely a little toxic. I muted my chats and won the next 8 games in a row… only one of them was close.
It’s crazy that you have to exploit this game in ways like this just to get a team that understands the game. If you’re in play or below… you’re playing with bronz brained people it seems, so find every edge in the system you can.
Played pretty much all afternoon. Was some good games. Except for the one where the enemy just gave up because their tank said something about Israel. That one was odd.
Idk just seems like you complain about people complaining at nearly every other hour of the day. Just go play your perfect game and chime in when you have something positive or actually helpful to say.
The fact i remember you bashing a post of mine from months ago shows you’re here too often… unless you’re a trolling dev perpetuating general player frustration, then i think you’ve got the wrong gig…
Look at the amount of people crying match maker, just because they got slapped in a game. Of course it could never have been their fault… lol.
Where as things Team 4 have actively chosen to do… not nerfing Hog, Sojourn, and many others enough. Refusing to acknowledge how the players play the game, and instead balancing for how they think it should be played. You know, things they do.
Another one… Continuing to add more CC and immortality abilities into the game. Both signs of low creativity and no ideas.
Oh god he is back … I muted him and ‘tried’ to see the hidden replies … always the same pattern. We voice our concerns that there are serious issues with match making (cheaters, rigged / manipulated matchmaking), and always trying to deny it.
