All I ask is don’t revert the slam CD change. If you want to nerf his mine activation, I’m game with that. If you want to nerf his armor a little, I’m fine with that. Just please don’t touch the slam cooldown. The 6 seconds is what makes ball feel so much more smooth and fun now

Tbh, I haven’t even noticed the mine buff really at all. I don’t think it is that bad, but people are complaining about him so idk. I’m just saying that if they do nerf him, just don’t touch the cooldowns

I know, that’s why I hate this place lol. I tend to not complain about hero’s specifically most of the time. The only one I complain about is Orissa. Not even because I think she’s OP, I just think she’s such a boring hero to play against
ball is only “op” because people arnt used to dealing with a higher skill hero so when a player is good with a high skill hero that’s been bad for so long and they become average they make the hero look op

I agree, but as someone who finds ball so damn fun, I’m going to play him regardless. So all I ask is they only do a slight nerf. Imo, ball still has so many counters, he isn’t even meta dude
They should be cutting his health in half, he is a nightmare in gold if the ball knows how to play

Dude no ball is good in gold. Only masters ball players are actually good. There is literally multiple counters on every role for ball. I recommend you learn them
id nerf him by making mines deactivate waaaay faster, because they are on the field for what seems like an eternity. other than that he’s not really that big of a deal.

Huh? Overwatch has never been a “moba” it’s a class based shooter. I’m just not sure why your getting at with this
the whole idea of overwatch in its inception was a moba game that you play from first person.
No…. It wasn’t. Overwatch originally wasn’t even supposed to be a pvp game. It was supposed to be a dungeon game, kinda like how the PVE is going to be. Then they scrapped that, and used what they had and took inspiration from tf2(not a moba) to create overwatch. I have no idea where people got the idea that the game was based off mobas. It has none of the key elements in mobas; levels, towers, waves of AI. Overwatch is nothing like a moba at all other than the fact that it’s made for weebs. That’s the only similarity
It’s had* heavy Moba elements since the beginning. Definitely always leaned into class based FPS however many Moba elements shine through especially in the tank role
No other class based fps has quite as much emphasis on abilities as overwatch and that most shines through in tank gameplay which at the end of the day is little more than a resource game
Weirdly enough, I’m in the opposite camp. Idc if they nerf slam cooldown. Idc if they nerf the ult (though I’ve been surprised by how little that change actually seems to be felt as a ball player.) All I ask is that they don’t nerf his shield HP. Nerfing his armor would honestly suck too.
And, in general, if he’s too good, for the love of all that’s holy, revert one of his buffs instead of doing some random nerf to a different part of his kit. I swear, I get so tired of Blizz buffing a hero, then nerfing something WAY out of left field so they end up feeling worse than they did before the buffs.
