But Junkrat isn’t allowed to one shot combo that requires him to actually put himself at risk, unlike Widow, no no no!
The absolute blatantancy that they only care about hitscan and certain dive heros could not be more obvious since the season 9.
We all know Widowmaker has always been balanced, it’s just a group of people pushing anti-good aim propaganda for years on Overwatch.
Some 70k+ poster is well-known for doing doing this for years on multiple social media and forums (they basically think they know better on any topic and always offer a “fix” no one asked them to look for in the first place - but I guess feeling important can be obsessive).

So balamced she pushed Genji out of OG dive, GOATs was born because it allowed them to quickly rush down the enemy with tanks before widow could get a kill, etc. Etc.
Anyone who thinks Widow “has always been balanced” should not be taokong about balance, as that statement is objectively wrong, and anyone with amy kind of awareness or critical observation skills could see that well.
“Anti-good aim”
Every other non-melee hero in the game will always and forever require far better aim to get the same level of value as widow. After all, it will forever be more skill intensive to land 2 or more shots than it could ever take to land one.

Just look through 2019-2022 threads about Widowmaker (as calling for her nerfs has been an obsession on forums, once every other year since 2016 anyways, so…), maybe you’ll come across one of my and many other posters long posts.
It’s one of many topics that divide the community but people are overexaggerating it, like always when it comes to specific heroes. Common Overwatch community biases, nothing new.
People who stop playing a game, one with a content drought as to pertain to goal setting which is another form of a habit or a series of them. Habits are also classified under procedural memory…
So your argument for keeping the only true one shot in the game is other games have it and people re queue wow thats instantly dumb so should overwatch have random geound loot and cars because ofther games have it or maybe we should att executions because other games have them and people re queue in those games
Weird to pretend this is a “modern” problem. You can go back and listen to the TF2 developer commentary and hear them talk about how Sniper one-shots aren’t fun and that you need to design with this in mind. That was almost 20 years ago.
It’s a well-known game design challenge. Why are you trying to pretend it’s not a thing or that it’s some ‘modern’ problem?

These same gm players played 3 tanks for sr are you saying they didn’t play widow cause they found her boring 
they simply didn’t have the skill to do that in that lobby.
Like it was open q 6 people in gm and not one of them could mirror and take out a widow?
Probably shows how aim intensive widow was

It’s one of the dumbest video about snipers , it’s just the same people in every game , they played their boomer shooters thought they were good came to tac shooters and got owned, leave even tac shooters this are people that whine about sniper shots in titanfall 2 , it has the insane movement 10x more than these people wanted but they still whine.

Shes not realy all that hard with maybe 10 hours of practice i bet any gm dps could use her effectively

Current widow yes due to getting hitbox buff.
Before when she was proper true hitscan no, cause the people who had no problem playing 3 tanks boringly could never mirror match widow
Her aim requirements before s9 was always intense enough to show the skill diff in aim.

I think the Video is quite good, but it talks about the problem of snipers in close range. A Problem that does not exist in Overwatch. I have never seen someone complaining about getting headshotted by Widow if they are in close range with her.
If people have a problem with Widow, its her range. For them, she is a Problem for doing her Job. And she already got her range cut quite significantly (The ranges in OW2 where already a joke for snipers in many other games and widow even got her range nerfed).
The best part is, he thinks that Sniper from TF2 is a very good design. The funny thing is, Widow is just a much weaker version of Sniper.
Yet many post this Video which does not prove anything they trying to say. In fact they weaken or even disprove their own arguments with this video. xD

Did you, just for one moment, thought about the fact that GM players usually have/need good aim? Of course they will be able to get some value out of Widow with some training. this is especially true with Hitscan players. But a GM Widow main like Ans, Kephrii, Kenzo, etc. will still wipe the floor with these players.

Stop. Ive seen widows pop in gold the myth of her being difficult anymore is no longer true with the changes.

Widow is pretty Difficult (one of the most difficult in fact), Just because you have seen Widows in gold pop off says nothing. Hell even Silver Widow can pop off. that does not mean they are good or bad.
I once was a Gold Widow (and currently probably am it again because I did not play the game for over 10 month) you have sometimes matches where you can dominate as you wish but then in the next game you could hit nothing (just like if you have suddenly forgot how to aim) or the enemy actually attacks and focuses you. And then you also have tons of mediocre games. Games where you dominate are very rare.
Just some days ago I had one match where my entire Team did only die once while I had around 20 kills. The next game I could not even try to Play Widow as i was hard focused the entire time.
Also you do not know the background of the Widow. What if its a player from another FPS or a new Alt-account of someone multiple ranks higher then you? Or in the worst case a cheater?

No, the reason being that she’s very good at locking down space. She doesnt even have to get many kills to completely change how the enemy team plays. Ironically, Widow is the best tank in the game, especially in 5v5

Kind of hilarious because Sniper is stupidly strong in TF2 once you add class-limits (essentially what Overwatch did) - to the point where items like the Razorback have to be banned, just so he actually has some sort of weakness.
Widowmaker is also missing many of TF2 Sniper’s biggest weaknesses:
- Limited ammo pool, requiring you to stand in a predictable position (near an ammo pack, resupply room or dispenser)
- Having to unscope and reload after every scoped shot
- No mobility
- Flinching every time you take damage while scoped
Don’t bother, no matter how many times people point this out the next Widow crying thread will still be about how ‘she has NO weaknesses of other snipers!!11’

but you cannot compare it 1:1 as both games are different ecosystems.
- Not a single heros has limited ammo
- Charge has a similar effect. (Sniper can even Quickscope OHK, Widow cant)
- Mobility in Overwatch is way higher than in TF2. (Winston, Hammond, DVa, Doom just to name the Tanks)
- Flinching does not exist in Overwatch
In turn Widow cannot Oneshot Tanks or Bodyoneshot Normal Heroes.
