IF you buy mystic points

If you buy mystic points to get a mystic skin, you’re getting SCAMMED. The overwatch team is so out of touch with reality and can’t even be taken seriously when they say they care about the player base experience. It all comes down to MILKING as much money out of players as possible.

Ever since the overwatch 2 patch came out (because Overwatch 2 was never made) They have been repackaging skins that use to be free for prices that use to cost the same price it was to buy Overwatch when it was on sale.

Holiday events use to be fun and something to look forward to in the game. Now they are just money grabs that bring no excitement at all.

The moira skin for Halloween we $53.99, sure you got a bunch of useless spray’s and garbage with it that noone wanted, but the only way to get the skin was to get all that junk with it.

And now it’s $83.96 to get a mystic skin at level 3. Even if I won the Lottery, I would not pay an absurd price for 1 skin.

buy bp, finish it, buy mythic skin of your choice, even if its not that bp skin.
get a mythic skin for the regular price of a bp.
where Problem?

i for example can now buy the bp as usual but not for the mercy skin, and can take the jq skin instead. and once a even worse skin is in the bp i can get whatever else i missed in the past.

somehow people can make this a bad thing

To be completely fair, you got more than the Moira skin. You also got the Pharah Inarius skin and the Reinhardt Imperius skin.

I don’t like the $80 mythic skins either, but let’s not ignore facts. There were three skins in that bundle, as well as the premium battle pass, and you got the first 20 levels instantly.

This was separate from the Lilith moira bundle btw but yeah your point still stands.

They shouldn’t have brought back past Mythics, tbh. They’re meant to be exclusive to their respective seasons. Now, they’re just fancy Legendary skins, since they’re so readily available to you.

You don’t see other games do this.

It does kind of blow my mind they took the route of removing the mythic from the BP though. It’s still the same you buy the one you want. But like is that generous really? It’s basically the same. Originally this was sold as a hero token system. You get one at the end to pick one you missed. But now it’s you can get the new one or an old one. But not both. Idk it doesn’t feel more generous.

i never thought i get 2 mythic skins for 1 bp, but I can see some people believed it. Wouldn’t make sense to me tbh. why get 2 skins for 10$ when one costs you a full bp?

I understand that it’s my fault for holding a hope. By now ow2 should have proven to me that hoping for anything just leads to disappointment.
