If we're nerfing heroes because of FEELS, why don't we also nerf

That’s not the point. The point is that since Blizzard is nerfing people based solely on feeling and not data, then everyone should be seeing a nerf since everyone has a hero they dislike playing against.

Well, they kind of did. THe whole ult charge nerf affects everyone.

But then some heroes that affected more than others. Reasoning, “they don’t feel nice.” Which you know, is incredibly subjective.

If we’re going on subjective FeeFees here, why not nerf a bunch of other heroes that people don’t like. WHy are we being choosy about who’s feefees matter and who’s don’t when we completely throw objective data out the window with nerfs/buffs, lol?

I think something like Information Warfare Sombra may work better.

Hack gives wall hacks + Displays ult charge + Discords someone for some time for the team.

It isn’t as annoying to be on the receiving end of, but, is still dangerous as all hell to be hacked.

You can still do everything, but, peeking would be “unwise”.

Hell, since it is more dangerous to land, it could discord for more than Zen does.

This would be great but still wouldn’t fix sombra’s problem of being incredibly team reliant, she’s the only flanker who can’t be independent behind enemies.

I’m all for it, trust me. I find sombra’s character design cool. But her play style NEEDS to be changed, I believe that they added a hero that could silence people way too early. I would love a duelist sombra.

Its unfun to have your ults reflected in your face, are they gonna nerf Genji? It’s unfun to be flash+FTH every time you turn a corner, will they nerf McCree? It’s unfun to have a Pharah or Reaper be pocketed by Mercy making them near unkillable, will they nerf anyone of those heroes?

The majority of the things you listed are only unfun for a portion of the population. I don’t find anything you listed as unfun, and I highly doubt the pros do either.

Sombra’s hack has enough counter play to keep her from getting any use out of it, on top of that her reliance on her team to follow up on everything she does makes her near useless at lower ranks, sure being hacked and not having access to your abilities for 5 seconds is annoying but there are more annoying and far worse things in the game that are “unfun”

All heroes except for a select few such as widow require team mates to follow up.

Hey I think we all agree there. I’m more leaning towards information warfare Sombra than assassin Sombra, In part because if you think she is annoying now, Assassin Sombra would be worse

She is kinda a DPS support / she is meant to alter the landscape in your teams favour.

I like that about her. It is just she isn’t good at it right now, and it is also annoying

I mean, I am ok with annoying, I main Mei, but I recognise that making her more annoying isn’t going to get her balanced any time soon.

Dude. They feel like they have to give a reason as to why they nerf and buff. It gives insight. I guess from here on They should nerf and buff and then for the reason just put “data”. Cool?

Also it’s not really subjective when discussing changes with the people that created the product. What the devs say is fact when In Relation to overwatch.

So everything pros say is just facts now? thats a TERRIBLE way to balance things, pros are only the top 1% of players the way they play is different than the 75% of players below diamond.

Sombra is a flanker, all the flankers in the game should be able to be independent behind enemy lines if they aren’t going to buff her to be independent then they shouldn’t nerf her ability to set up her team.
