these devs should geniunely be fired, im not kidding, im not being ironic, im not angry or tilted (while writing this post) im just stating objectively, these people are terrible at their job, and do not deserve to be hired anywhere that is related to game balance.

The point is Sombra as a hero is so bad outside of the Widow matchup (while it still can be a favourable matchup, is objectively weaker) that it’s not worth picking her for that one interaction. Her neutral game sucks

Its only weaker if the perma invis was a crutch. Heaven forbid you just time your assault on a widow, not like you can preemptively go invisible at safe distance, kill her and at that point your tp is off cd and you get away. Just like ypu used to. Except now you melt widow even faster. Its a skill issue. Im sorry. Low ranks is the only time widow was countered by sombra. As you go up in rank, widow almost always has supports. And you werent doing anything as sombra. This is cope of the highest order.

widows in masters or even diamond dont need someone to run in a straight line to kill them, you just suffer from skill issue.

I’m not at an uber high rank right now (masters 1) but like what is your point? The matchup is simply not good anymore with what’s being played right now. In every masters+ game it’s Juno and Brig, all day all night no questions asked
Like you cannot comprehend that tying Sombra’s engage and disengage tool to a single cooldown, which in turn makes her pathing and positioning a lot more obvious makes her a weaker hero
The matchup was actually pretty favorable because of the ability to divert resources and attention easier beforehand. Now you have to teleport IN instead of having it to escape, and it’s all or nothing

Also what even defines a crutch? In that case is Widow one shotting is a crutch because you don’t have to land multiple headshots in a row to kill a target, only one?
