Headshots would probably be an instant kill. Also shotguns kill you at point blank range.

Considering this game is meant to compete with the likes of CS:GO and specifically aims to have very quick time-to-kills… I think you’re hyping yourself up for the wrong game.

Nah. They should at MAX deal the damage that Ashe’s Viper deals when it hits the head.
If it’s only at kiss-up range, I wouldn’t mind.
think it depends on the gun. but ur mostly talking about widow/hanzo so i think he compared it to the sniper in that game. 1 shot headshots. but harder cuz it has sway and u cant be pocketed really.
They are modeling the game in the likes of CSGO and Rainbow Six. Both those games have instant kill headshots.
This would be no different. Don’t forget they are trying to make it “hardcore”.
More like mid range judging from what was shown.

it looks really slow paced. Just throw green smoke and a sonic ability and wait for results. Sure it rewards mechanics but it rewards patience more and thats just boring gameplay. Viper looks like she could be a fun replacement for genji though so im gonna try it

theres also way less healing for one thing, so he isnt wrong. Thats the only reason one shots are required rn

Honestly Destiny players had to deal with it since forever.
I’m looking at you Mindbender’s Ambition and Lord of Wolves.
Because the people on the receiving end are not restricted to cowering behind a Rein shield and/or having their map control be restricted to hiding behind walls just because Widow/Hanzo exist on the battlefield.

People prefere to change game for their need, than get what game is for them and what is not. At least thats my view after talking with people who hate no aim stuff, and say they should not be in overwatch, when those were here from start and always were impactfull…
For Valorant, from what i saw from short gameplay it was like csgo, so i could watch only one round, abilities they used was like granades, smoke etc.

There was Lawbreakers, but it died in a month. Real shame because it was probably the most fun I have had in a shooter outside of Overwatch.

Dude, the game is more like CSGO. Pistols one shot with a headshot. same with assault rifles. imagine if Soldier one shot headshot. thats CSGO. Look up one tapping.
Get back on Overwatch, it ain’t gonna be replaced anytime soon by CSGOverwatch.
