That would be a terrible message to the community.
If all you have to do is childish screaming and spam “Brig broken” “remove Brig” based on the most selfish claims, and that actually made the devs ruin the hero for players, then the message is you have to be louder than streamers to be heard.
I vote we all cry for the next six months to delete Tracer and hard buff Bastion. Let’s be louder than Samito.

Bunch of these deletebrig streamers are friends and play together, so they can all use their fanbases to create narratives on what is “fun” and “fair”. Some of them talk to the devs.
Imagine if Brig players just started demanding that we get to change Tracer or Genji. That would obviously be wrong.
But the other way around is viewed as normal.
So are streamers not allowed to voice balance problems?

I think they should, but not entirely for balance reasons. Content creators need some base communication with community managers, but I guess with 0 content right now there isn’t much need for it
I know not all of them are like that, im talking about those that are the loudest and scream that they “demand” blizzard do as they say, and their friends parroting what they say.
Most often they just make stuff up that are not even true to the hero they hate.

That is not what I said. They dont address balance problems, they target the heroes that counter them in the most childish way.
This hysteria is what got Brig players harassed before, since the most toxic streamers have the most toxic fans.

The ones im talking about are mostly making stuff up to make heroes they dont like seem broken.
They make claims about top ranks that are simply not true. They even started gaslighting the community about things in the past that are not true, to make it seem brig is broken.
Im actually thinking of making a long list of factual errors being spread by these streamers.
It seems some people put all the blames on sTrEaMeRs, like they started all the things, like the hate against HLC/Paris, etc.
But I saw those move far before some streamers said. Those streamers just represented the people if it seems there are enough people having the same opinion.
Targeting Brig was literally gone from the community until it was started by a few streamers weeks ago. Now the claims are parroted word for word from those streamers.
And the claims made were made up about her performance to make her seem broken. All stats on top ranks/owl prove them wrong.
Technically streamers are a sort of free advertisement which is why companies often do give them special treatment or early access, I know with Hearthstone they sometimes get streamers to do card reveals as one example
That being said I’m completely against streamers having any say in balance as it’s quite clear with streamers like that Samito guy they have no idea what they’re talking about, or at least these forums make it out that way, I have no interest in watching him and wouldn’t know about him if it wasnt for this place
The real childish behavior is the forumers blaming dps players for ruining their precious tank and support heroes.
Forumers are already louder than streamers.
