so apperantly zen has highest winrate on support AND brigitte

i just hope this will not give them reason to nerf him

i like playing him, he the most fair support, nothing cheesy about him, he good to play and play against

discord has to be nerfed. so is suzu, moira’s damage and mercys new 50% health overheal. only brig and lucio are fair in the sup category. even ana doesn’t need more than 3sec anti

if zen discord was nerfed, why in the world u pick him?

even if they buff her healing he still cant compete with other healers, other healer have bigger heal, aoe, more mobility and CC

They will probs nerf discord in the next few months but will def buff either his personal damage or his HP to compensate

discord orb will be nerfed, it’s inevitable.
You have to agree it’s kinda busted you slap that bad boi on the tank an it’s gg.
Don’t worry blizzard will give him some compensating buffs that i am 132% sure you will like them :wink:

This is the big complaint about it for me.

It just lives on the tank 90% of the match. Oh your broke los and it dropped off you? Have it back the second you come back from cover.

Like on one hand you can argue “well it’s ok, he permanently debuffs enemy tanks but his team mates are more vulnerable too because he doesn’t heal a lot so it’s a fair trade!”

Except for the part where you implode before you can really do much.

Damage boosts that have no appreciable cooldown, resource, aim requirements, or any other appreciable limits kinda suck, IMO.

You are not wrong, but also no. Let’s not.

They could bring back EMP shredding shield health, I suppose. It would make Zen’s life quite difficult with minimal collateral damage.

I don’t think Zen will be nerfed. People have been looking at discord but not at both orb & his design as a whole , he has bad healing, even brig can sustain team better than him.

And he is niche, given his sad hitbox & unavoidable damage without mobility, like Doomfist ultimate , bastion ult to name a few.

(Im not a Zen Main)

and it’s such an easy fix too. Just make it so after he slap a orb on you and you break los for whatever seconds you can’t reapply the orb on that hero for 7-10-15 seconds.Boom I just made the orb balanced :woman_shrugging:

I think they’ll nerf Discord down from 25% to 20% and see how that flies. I also think that’s a relatively boring nerf because I imagine that Zens will still slap Discord on the tank first and foremost even after the nerf, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Maybe they’ll go ahead and give him something extra in addition to the usual damage adjustments to Zen’s own standard attacks. That slow levitate from the experimentals was kinda neat. Or being able to apply Harmony/Discord without breaking reloads. But I think he’ll be fine whatever.

They should nerf the Discord’s duration. The moment someone hides from Zen’s sight the discord should disappear (its 2 secs now)

I think discord nerf is inevitable, the crybabies from seagull samito have already started the campaign, i don’t mind as long as dmg is buffed to make up for loss of discord dmg.

and if you only use character because they busted…i dunno why ?
