and probably you don’t care but my point is that Reaper isn’t overpowered he can be easily countered by any dps hero and if you’re a tank and want to fight with Reaper then you are the problem not him

and why is this matter?

because not the developers killing the game, it’s the community itself. Just see other hero examples from the past.

I feel like they’ve buffed him in the wrong area. His problem was shadowstep + having terrible range. They didn’t address either of these. Now CC is almost necessary to kill him.

I will be surprised if he doesn’t get nerfed. He creates more space than a tank and is unkillable during ult.

ultimate has a short range and CC can interrupt it or push him away with Lúcio also it can’t melt barriers

I know that but is pretty common now to see him getting at least 4 kills with ult every game.

This, as a Reaper one-trick no less. I don’t understand why on earth they thought this was the right direction to go, certainly there were better ways to break up goats, but I find myself saying that with almost every decision they make so perhaps I’m just expecting too much from them.

The feedback was clear from the inception: this change will make Reaper stomp low ranks without fixing any of his glaring issues.

it’s also common to see 4 kills with Dva ult yet I don’t think it is overpowered, you just need to position better

His ult isn’t great unless combod, watch any streamer play him and they’ll say the same. The amount of counters, one of which is permanently situated below the “w” key on your keyboard, mean if half your team die to it, you all did something wrong, especially you as a DVA main.

It’s not a matter of countering him. It’s a matter of killing him before my tanks get overrun. Sure, Hanzo and McCree exist, but that’s an incredibly tiny fraction of the overall DPS roster.

They should revert the self healing buff, fix shadow step, and increase his range a little bit.

I don’t have a problem with this idea, but blizzard never reverted anything as far as I remember so I’m pretty sure the solution will be nerf his damage and lifesteal so make him even worse before

16 meter bubble around reaper is pretty healthy for range within the context of overwatch.

As of feb 2018 a year ago- reaper aims at targets in range even if theyre behind barriers, doing up to 510 damage each over the ults duration- and this can all be aimed at a shield.

He melts shields pretty good during his ult.

Reaper is one of my favorite fall back heroes

I wanted him buffed.

This was absolutely the wrong way to do it.

Theres a huge discrepancy now in how effective resper is at particular skill brackets- and carrier a lot of impact for how easy he is to play in relation to other heroes at those ranges.

I see no problems with current reaper.

Most heroes in the game still have an easy time dealing with him.

In a 1v1 he might be strong against some, but in a team fight he isn’t.

I don’t see why people have such a problem with him now.

well yeah he’s unkillable in ult, not like it can be countered by ALMOST ANYONE

Since the buff I see 4 man reaper ults way more than 4 man d.va ults.

Reaper still legit worst hero in the game. Nerfing him would be like admitting they have no idea what to do with game
