I get the mercy mains want pink mercy, but if they bring it back, this forum will become a literal war zone about how blizzard is using a cancer charity skin for a cash grab.
A lot of people will be unhappy, please dont do it blizz (This is my opinion)

I mean… the skin did serve its purpose and the money of the users who bought it went to charity… the skin was just kind of a conduit they used.

That’s how charity events work.
It was quite successful and I’m proud of the owlverwatch team

People say “b-but I paid 15 dollars for it!”
No. You did not. You donated 15 dollars, and for such a selfless act, you were rewarded with a skin— a bonus.
People saying they “paid so much money!” for that skin proves they missed the point

They could bring it back then donate to a COVID charity

But, think about it. If a gargantuan portion of your mercy players want it to come back, is it really a cash grab?

Which I am fine with.
But I’m a greedy charity person…the scary one with the clipboard and walkie talkie.
The one demanding cash and refusing to even give out water.
This is a charity soldier. Buck up and get. That. Money.

they can have a cancer charity event more then once.
but the price of the skin includes tax in eu. i don’t see why that wasn’t sorted out.

Not true. Mentally, I mean. It has already been shown with demon hunter that people are buying the skin. Me personally, I donated because my grandmother had cancer. I don’t even play mercy. But to a lot of others, the money they spent on the skin is more important than where it went.
All im saying is that they should link it to another charity if they bring it back. It shouldnt be in loot boxes
To be honest I do hate the fact how blizzard paywalls their skins when the game was clearly advertised as “you can get everything if you play enough!” yet most actually beautiful skins are behind 40+ paywalls…
Yes Tyrande Symmetra, I am talking about you they could have easily squeezed so much hype about this skins, maybe even made events about them, but nah, paywall
For sure.but again…that’s literally the point of charity events.
Rich People don’t care about Alzheimer’s. They want the little trophy of thanks.
Or education- they want the library statue
Or your local shelter. They need the school credit.
And I say: good. I don’t care. I got my money. My library. Extra hands.
