Blizz already acknowledged that 2CP is a bust in their Ow2 promo. Why not just remove 2CP from the comp rotation? It’s by far the least enjoyable match type in the game.
Quickplay, Arcade, hell even just make a card for it! But Comp 2CP is just too dry and not fun.
Why should content be removed while on a content drought? 2CP isn’t that bad imo.
Did you read the post. I’m not suggesting 2CP as content is removed. I’m suggesting it’s taken out of Comp rotation.
Having 2CP being removed from comp is the same thing, already existing content being removed. It’s already being removed in OW2, so just wait I guess.
And again, in reference to my point: if Ow2 is delayed and the wait is increased, and they’ve acknowledged 2CP doesn’t really work that great in a comp setting, why not just take some intermediary action.

Removing a negative aspect to the game is a net positive. We’d still have 16 maps to cycle through. Quite enough variety. It’s doubtful they’ll have 16 maps including push when OW2 launches.
To add weight to your suggestion: 2CP will NEVER BE PLAYED AGAIN IN OWL. Since competitive mode is balanced around and designed to give us the closest feel to playing the game the professionals play, 2CP no longer has any place there.
Totally agree , atleast start with removing Anubis from Comp .
