Baps Immortality field
Make it a damage reduction field that can’t be destroyed by the enemy and lasts 5 seconds (can be adjusted to lower or higher if needed)
I know a few people will be like NO u can’t take that away from him but he will still be useful without immortality
Lets get rid of immorality a little bit at a time
I’ve proposed before a similar ability, only rather than shrouding friendlies in field that reduces incoming damage, it covers enemies and nerfs their outgoing damage.
I actually kind of like that idea.
I’m fine with them existing without any change. 1shot kills exist in the game. Things which can deny 1shot kills and other attributes can exist too. If 1shot kills are removed or have other ways to counter them, then things like immortaility field can disappear.
I dnt see how one shots are even a big issue… the only characters that can one shot most is widow… since they took away some hp from sum charactere hanzo can one shot sum but outside of those 2 eh.
Its a fair point Veluna made. How many supports have immorts? 3? And one concedes all the space? (you know which one)
Why is making the comparison to one-shot not noteworthy when theyre just as prevalent? (Ashe blue beamed one-shots plenty of heroes again)
The ash would need a mercy pocket for that… which isnt always a guarantee. U all act like widow is one of the most broken things in game when she is easily countered. But to each their own

You could deploy it anywhere, and it can’t be removed/destroyed, so it would be easier to use than a barrier. I was thinking of it working like Torb’s ult, where you spray it on the ground or on people.
so like a bastion ult? A reverse amp matrix?

A Bastion ult with the effect of a reverse amp matrix, although a Domain like Mooga’s would work surprisingly well.
Well u said it would create a barrier around the enemy team where they couldnt break it n it reduces their damage going out… i just pictured maugas ult… instant barrier just without the chains
I meant a field they would be inside of, like an AoE, but a barrier might actually be a better visual.
