🤔 If new hero was healer, should it be..?

If the new hero was support, should it be:

  • Burst healer
  • Consistent healer
  • Off-healer

2/3 of the last three heroes were supports.

I want another dps.

Another main healer would be nice but I want a healer with cleansing abilities. A healer can heal and protect your from effects etc.

Don’t need another dps though we already have more then enough choices for dps covered.

We should be getting new tanks and healers for a long while to catchup to the dps’s hero count.

I don’t want another support already. I’ll wait for a couple months first. If anything it would be an off-healer.

Even current tanks and healers combined are still less than dps :C We should get at least 8 tanks and 8 supports before new dps.

Yes, I believe we are in need for a main healer. And cleansing abilities are amazing idea!

We only get 3 heroes a year max. Thats another 2 years of only supports and tanks.

I’ve suggested this before, but I would like a support that’s effective against snipers and zone control.

If you’ve ever played League of Legends, then you know what kind of healer that is when I say a “Bard” healer.

A healer that creates healing pickups, much like Armor Packs. Maybe a Botanist hero who plants healing plants that restore health to allies when you walk near them.

The hero could also have a vine that pulls allies (like a friendly Roadhog hook), allowing you to pull an ally through several healing pickups and out of danger. It would also help counter a lot of things like Gravitational Surge or Brigitte’s stun.

And by having a healer that doesn’t have to be in line of sight to restore health, you also create a healer that can counterpick snipers like Widowmaker while the trade-off is that the heals are largely telegraphed and something you can play around.

Another skill the hero could have would be a “burst” that causes all healing plants to detonate and restore health to allies while dealing poison damage to enemies. Maybe this could be the ultimate? If you guys have any ideas, feel free to pitch in.

It is not a good idea to have just as many tanks/supports as DPS heroes.

A bit off-topic, but are there any “hybrid” heroes left to do? It seems like every possible hybrid was made.

In a time where Overwatch seems very balanced, not yet.
