If Junkrat had Tracer level perks

Just imagine…

Mine packs: health packs restore one mine charge.
Blast from the present: Riptire detonation radius increased by 50%.
Flashtrap: Deploying trap restores all mine charges.
Quantum Entrapment: deploying trap provides 50 overhealth that decays over time.

Kind of ridiculous, huh?

Hope we get a balance patch ASAP. The imbalance in perks between characters in the same class is kind of ridiculous.

This sounds like an absolute nightmare to go against, junkrat is already annoying enough as he is don’t make him even easier to play

Junkrat is a walk in the park compared to most of the dps cast.

Woah it’s crazy how ashe’s dynamite gets 40% bigger imagine if Rein’s hammer got 40% bigger

… but the similar stuff is okay for Tracer. Because that’s how it always goes in OW.

Except you miss the part where a few key heroes currently are pretty much useless with perks added because the perks don’t give any substancial improvements.

Junkrat’s one of them.

But things like Ashe gaining ammo refund on ANY scoped shots, as long as they are consecutive is perfectly fine on a borderline meta pick. We don’t get that here on Junk, instead you can throw your trap 50% further… where it literally doesn’t matter.

You can also gain a RIPTire boost… on most supports that have improved DPS and other DPS who also have improved DPS or even, a roll on a headshot cooldown that garantees that if he rolls (Cass), he only takes 150dmg.

Oh, and while most people firsthand think the 40% nade speed is good, it’s only-so good at CQC or hyper-long ranges, it actually deters your mid-range game significantly IF you apply “floor” or “feet” zoning at which you slow INTENTIONALLY your nade’s speed in order to meet people at the right spot. Now it just sends the nade somewhere you don’t want.

And last but not least, a VERY generous buff on a complete useless application, aka, “arming” a mine, in which case, NEVER happens the higher you are. There is only 1 good application to it, and that one is a double-edged sword. The mine perk increases your CC to mine up in the air significantly… but it also means you’re vulnerable more.

Yep. Just imagine if Tracer got perks like Junkrat did. People would be screaming for blood.

NGL, they can prob just take away the downsides and he’ll be fine.

Like, make his nades go faster and make him retain the ammo count. The rest of the perks are actually pretty fun. It’s no earth-shattering changes, but it does put in work.

we dont buff junk without nerfing him, u lucky the trap perk doesnt have a nerf

Yea, 50% extra throw range on trap is actually good. I love it, being able to toss into enemy team it and them not expecting is super hilarious.

Combined that with 180 C4 conc mine perk, and seeing enemy explode makes my day.

And you think that Tracer isnt annoying and obnoxious to face?

The truth is that every hero in this game is annoying to face if they are opposing you in any meaningful manner.

i wouldnt say its A GOOD PERK, i would say baseline trap could prolly be like that and it wouldn’t even make him good

Oh no, if baseline trap was like that, we can definitely expect complaints and nerf posthate but making it perk? It allows us to get away with so much dumb stuff.

i disagree, its not that good it just makes the ability usable and i might be wrong but im of the opinion that an ability should be usable

probably an extremely bad take but y e s, comparing the 2 I always got way more annoyed by junkrats.

sounds like a skill issue, just literally dodge the bullets dude, even with the bullet speed perk u can easily dodge them

I like the options of basically having easier way to deploy trap, cause once you learn the angles, dropping them into enemy backline without wasting a mine is very valueble.
