If they do nerf her, then I’m positive I won’t be playing the game competitively or even at all anymore. After reducing Mercy to becoming a heal bot with a lackluster ultimate and horrible resurrect mechanic - I play comp less.
Seems like supports aren’t allowed to be in a good spot, because that would upset the DPS mains =/

I mean… mercy was the #1 pick in the game for 6 months, and Lucio/Zen has been a viable duo for the entierety of the game’s history…

It only matters that she was a must pick for 4 months. Personally, I don’t find Lucio too enjoyable, neither Zenyatta if there’s a flanker constantly on me - dying over and over feels horrible. Ana’s the same as Zenyatta sometimes + barriers.
Mercy + Moira are the supports I find the most fun for me engaging - and now one of them is just bland and a boring heal bot.

Cause it’s fine for a support hero to have more survivability than hog or as much as Mercy in valk
it’s fine for her to have a 33 hps perm heal while also being able to either do 100 dps or heal 133 hps

ye boi no other healer can defend themselves like she can nor outlive or even dish out that much damage with little to no effort but she’s fine : )

Well, we need a Moira feedback megathread. Much like Mercy’s megathread where feedback is collated and not acknowledged officially.
If I had a Chinese penny for every if I had a penny thread, I would have enough money to buy blizzard and then I would nerf Moira every time someone says she’s perfectly find or doesn’t need a nerf.
Another mercy mains who thinks support consists of mercy alone.
First of all, we got 5 of em. NOT 1. Second, the only hero that was nerfed is actually ana. Mercy is STILL significantly better than the garbage tier hero she used to be before the rework. Lucio got a rework/buff. Zen got lots of minor buffs.
So please don’t bring this ridiculous “Supports are being nerfed”, “Supports aren’t allowed to enjoy” and the rest of these ridiculous comments here.

Honestly, I’m tired of the myriad of ‘Nerf [insert x hero]’ or ‘[insert x hero] is OP’ threads about EVERY hero.
I don’t think any hero is OP currently and we should all relax and just be patient.
Can’t we all go one day without arguing and flaming one another?

Mercy is better than 1.0? Are you insane? Team-rez was so significant and impacting on the game that it required a balance change. Current Mercy is nothing more than a heal bot with a 30 second resurrect that never differentiates a bronze to a Grandmaster mercy main - she’s left in a state that’s worse than Mercy 1.0. She’s boring and bland to play as now, and has little impact on that game in comparison to every other version to her .
Why do you think people say that ‘‘Moira is OP’’? Because people don’t like the idea of a support character actually being in a good spot and influential in games - hence why people complained consistently about team-rez even before the whole hide and seek came out.

So, you’re one of the ignorant ones huh? I thought OWL showed you how wrong you people were. The fact that mercy is still played in OWL, EVEN without a pharah, should show you how better her status in the game really is.
Before the rework, we had 2 uses for mercy. 1- When you had a pharah that needed pocketing. 2- Not being picked when you didn’t have a pharah, so 2 other better supports could take her place.
Mercy had the ability to completely deny a team effort…
