i don’t understand the battle pass really, if i spend all that money, do i also have to pay for the hero pack?
Technically no. Cause the game is broken. No one can play anything, the servers are down. Some say they will never come back up.
I think they removed new heroes from the premium battle pass and now you just have to complete a set of challenges to unlock them if you didn’t get to the required level of the free battle pass that specific season the hero was released.
Kiriko came out a while ago so you just need to complete her set of challenges which is in the Challenges menu under some specific Hero tab.

You will almost never get an official answer for anything on this forum. It has essentially been abandoned by devs and community managers alike. Create a support ticket and they will get back to you after a few weeks.
