if tank balancing is on a tier list, and hog is at the bottom.

then who is at the top?

because according to forums noone is at top.

Pretty much the only thing people seem agreed on rn is that Orisa is top horse right now.

Then followed closely by Winston, Rammatra, and Sigma.

Orisa is broken. Abuse her like everyone else lol

That horse piece of garbo sadly. Going to have to put up with her until heā€™s hit with the nerf bat.

Once sheā€™s no longer broken I may try her in the future. Until then sticking with Rein.

Her only weakness is the player-thereā€™s some players thinking theyā€™re immortal and they try going 1v5 with her which can make her an easy picking. Her current state is encouraging terrible gameplay from certain quarters.

honestly i will say ramatraa ult is broken especially on overtime but orisa just straight up BUSTED cuz she can cycle all of her skill quick enough

Ana. Ana is strong, sheā€™s absurdly strong.

She enables and counters Hog. Roadhog had almost all his OW2 buffs reverted before he became a dominant pick. The only things he kept were the extra 100 Health, and the Whole Hog rework.

Meanwhile, Ana steadily received buff after buff, which not only made her good to play into Roadhog, but also enabled friendly Roadhogs like crazy.

  • Biotic Rifle allows Ana to safely heal Hog through scary damage, and soften up Hook targets. This is probably even more crucial now, given Hogā€™s been gutted.

  • Bionade healed Hog, boosted the healing of Breather, whilst damaging the enemy Hog and fully negating his Breather. And she can do this more often than Hog has Breather to begin with.

  • Sleep Dart fully shuts down Whole Hog, presents the enemy Hog from acting, and if not used on Hog, can make easy Hook targets for your Hog.

  • Nano Boost massively heals Hogā€™s beefy health pool, makes him extra tanky with the 50% damage mitigation that, to an extent, stacks with Breatherā€™s damage reduction, and turns Whole Hog into a near uncounterable source of crazy high damage output, as Hog canā€™t be stunned out of it anymore.

Ana is the problem. Hog was middle of the pack at best.

Orisa is definitely at the top.
Ramattra is at second.

Roadhog is not at the bottom, he just needs to follow up a bit more on his hook, which went from ā€œhook and shoot anywhereā€ to ā€œhook and deliver a headshotā€, so unfair, isnā€™t it?

This thread really shows the trend that OW has: slightly nerf a hero to make him more balanced, now people stop playing him because heā€™s trash, when he clearly isnā€™t.

Now I see some people play Zarya again thanks to the light buff and Roadhog players giving up on playing the absolutely most insanely easy hero of the game.

Orisa is the best tank.

There definitely is. Go try and kill her supports. She can soak up tons of damage. Delete you in seconds if you arent a tank. Its not as easy as just kill her supports.

You have to kill her supports while actively avoiding her as well as deal with supports who can team up against you. While the enemy dps still might just kill you as well.

If the Rein buff is something with his Firestrike, I doubt that.

Rein is the only shield tank who has to choose between shield and damage.

I donā€™t play Rein so I didnā€™t pay too much attention but Iā€™m like 80% sure his firestrike will get a buff. At least Alec confirmed personally to Flats that Rein will get something.

Gamewise, I feel like Ramattra is pretty popular/strong right now. Especially that no one seems willing to counter him. Even if I make him sleep, people would wake him up like if they could outdps himā€¦

Orisa is probably not OP but rather sheā€™s doing decent in everything : rather good mobility, a way to negate damage, can attack at every ranges ; but I wouldnā€™t say sheā€™s on top. I feel Winston is pretty good too, just less popular for some reason.
