If Forums is Majority Plat Below, Why No Hate for Orisa?

i hate this hero so much, in low elo a orisa pick means every other tank is automatically harder to play.

of course i dont play monkey or d.va, and zarya doesnt get charge like she does in higher elos.

how do i counter this hero?

i find this kinda surprising tbh. id assume its because she is misusing bubbles, because in low elo i cant see people purposely not shooting bubble or spike dmging to break it…

mainly because they cant aim, ive stood still so many times and not gotten charge.

there are moments when they stop shooting.

Because roadhog is the king of garbage stomping. Sigma is also much easier to play and get value out of, just throw balls and rocks in their general direction.

The tank I hate the most is by far Hog, followed by Rein who just has one of the easiest, game winning ultimates. Orisa is right at the bottom.

i mean more so for the tank matchup, if youre dps you dont even really have too look at tanks.

Because a lot of people at Plat and below identify as GM players.

It’s like people who live in trailer parks being heavily concerned about taxes that only apply to billionaires.

I have no idea what you meant by Zarya getting less charge on lower ranks when its quite literally the opposite, Zarya still beats Orisa head-on even after the nerfs, specially on lower ranks.

Also theres was alot of Orisa complaints when the game first launched, people have since learned to simply ignore the horse.

Other than that i’d suggest you start learning Winston since hes not getting nerfed and is quite possibly the best tank atm and quite strong vs Orisa.

Then why do we get “nerf Moira” threads on the regular?

I think it’s more likely that most people here simply don’t have much of an issue playing into Orisa.

Because of this:

I think the answer “Orisa isn’t actually that annoying” seems more likely than “people identify as GM and so don’t complain when it comes to Orisa, but don’t identify as GM and so complain when it comes to Moira”.

That’s fair, overly-annoying vs overpowered.

Certainly has gotten Junk/Mei to be limited in their capabilities.

No , neither is overpowered, both are annoying to play against, Moira more so, shes also more of a “noob-stomper” type than Orisa, wich is why she gets more complaints.

Well also it’s relatively easy to get away, outrun, or duck for cover against Orisa.

Where as they can’t do that with close range attackers like Mei, Junkrat, Moira.

No, the issue is that those 3 dont require as much aiming while giving them pretty much a time limit to eliminate them before the other player just automatically lose,

Moira is the worst offender because she heals herself while doing damage, punishing people that cant aim even more so, while also requiring the least amount of aiming.

Mei’s primary was nerfed enough so that shes not as much of a problem in lower ranks anymore though.

I’d say every tank is a noob smasher; Hog gets the most complaints because it’s easier for him to do it. I still find Orisa the most annoying besides Sigma, especially if they have a pocket mercy.

This is true, because of something called target priority, very important now on the new format to literally ignore the tanks alot of the time but thats difficult to learn.

I don’t understand it either. Her kit is overloaded with sustain and CC that outclasses other tanks in many ways. And she simply makes playing other tanks against her a very unfun experience.

Anyone claiming Orisa is fine because a few other tanks get played more in high ranks are kidding themselves. She’s absolutely ez mode in QP and low ranks.

Close to no mobility or threat, ignore the horse and kill her team.

I know. That’s sadly the only thing another tank can do unless they manage to environmentally kill her.

But also, I wouldn’t downplay her as not a threat either. She can easily kill anyone including other tanks if she has all her abilities up and there is a cliff to push you over with no counter play.
