Doomfist’s probably a good candidate for a rework. People hate playing against him, love playing as him, and the game could use more tanks.
The question is, how could Doomfist be turned into a tank without either:
-
Buffing his CC (people would hate playing against him just as much, if not more), or
-
Reworking his mobility (he wouldn’t be fun for doomfist players anymore, which would hurt tank player counts)
oh no ChipSa won’t be happy about this.

They said no more reworks, plus, originally people thought he would be a tank but came out as a DPS, also, if there was a rework for Doomfist, it would have happened long long ago.

Lower his damage by half, increase his health pool to 350, double his shield gain. The rest would be considerably more difficult; on one hand, i’d like him to have less cc. But on the other hand, the way he operates now encourages him to work on his own. Get in fast, and out even faster.
If i were to rework the character, and sit down iterating thoroughly, he’d be very similar to Wrecking ball, i’d imagine.

U want buff to doomfist cc are u ok I’m a doomfist main and even I don’t want him to get buff it to be honest he needs a nerf
Half damage, some 90 degree camera locking on one or more moves, double health and shield gain and boom, he becomes a sustain based tank that soaks damage.
He isn’t, why would you make him a tank anyway, he can already get up to 400 hp.
It would be pretty easy to turn him into a proper tank. He already is a tank in the right hands (Reaper can be, too).
Increase his shield ability, give him a little more HP, cut his damage in half, reduce his cooldowns, change Seismic Slam to a low-damage soft cc ability (slow), change Meteor Strike into a 1.5 sec stun with no damage in the outer circle.
Oh wait, that’s Hammond…

Disagree. Reworks and balance overall should not be based on “people hate to play against”.
I hate tracer, how about we make her tank?

for anyone unaware, this is Atlas from Paladins
he has the power to recall like tracer, place a barrier, rewind enemies in time, or just lock enemies out of time altogether with his ult. He also has a gatling gun that be charged though it has some nasty recoil

Okay doomfist rework go:
Damage mostly halved, shot gun is fine, shield gains doubled, starting HP 350, total max HP including shield gains 800
Rocket punch: distance traveled halved, punched target when flying back can knock back other targets behind them, if target or any other character hits a wall they’re knocked down.
Uppercut: mostly unchanged
Seismic slam (reworked): Ability has two forms, grounded and air born, air born has same criteria as wrecking balls ground slam. Grounded version, he slams in front of himself for 35 damage on all targets and boops targets back. Airial version calculates damage not by distance traveled but by how hi DF is at the start of the slam. Slam pulls targets closer as on live.
Ult: mostly the same except it adds a boop, to targets hit that is stronger the closer you are the to center of the second circle, targets in the center circle are knocked down.
