Throw your caduceus staff to the point you are looking, make it heal like in her ult, now Mercy can use her pistol during all the ult while flying without being called troll for using your gun, thats all.

I just thought of a similar idea:

It looks good too, I think my idea is more simple, she just throw her staff an unlimited distance, and once it touch the floor, a wall or even a ceiling, it star healing exactly the same way that her current ult until it finish and return to her hands. During that, she can become an attack helicopter and kill freely from the sky, that would be beautiful.

Orisa can protect her supercharger, mercy not so much
If its stuck under on the ceiling and what not its gonna be hard to hit
Personally, I think they should buff Rez, just a little. If it gets cancelled it doesn’t go on cool down. Heroes DO die now
Every rez is a huge risk, not something a support should be taking

ohh, thats a good point, maybe the staff should be immortal and just disappear if mercy is killed.

I think turning rez into some sort of skill shot will be the way to go. It would make rez harder to pull off but also more rewarding.
No, Orisa can’t. There are numerous completely unstoppable attacks that neither the shield nor the body block can help with. That poor supercharger usually dies within seconds.

Orisa can use that to her advantage, the enemy team has to push and focus fire her charger. Now imagine a mercy throwing soldier healing pods except, they’re breakable
Replace rez with valk.
(balance healing output, cooldown length and duration)
Place single rez on ult.
(balance time to cast, ult gain, ult cost, etc)
Now she is a lot more skill based. More in line with other healers. And has an “impactfull” ult back.
That’s not even necessarily true… some heroes have piercing attacks that can break it from a distance.

This sounds pretty similar to GreyFalcon’s Spear of the Valkyrie idea or however he titled it
Moira’s ult. There are probably more I just can’t think of right now.
My problem is that mercy have a pistol, but she almost never use it, and when she want team normally said “just heal”, that limit her aim skills so much.
I mean, if you wanna shoot, there’s also every other healer in the game.
That why I only use her when I have no more options, It’s ironic because It is a first person shooter, and she don’t shoot.
Some people like that playstyle. I don’t understand them myself, but making her shoot more doesn’t usually get a positive response from Mercy players.
