Idea for ranking points based on individual performance

Ranking points are based on wins Vs losses, that’s the only thing that really matters, however could there be some kind of modifier system for your performance in a match? 20 points for a win, minus 20 for a loss, match modifiers applied of course, expected win, uphill battle etc. fine

But then, why not an extra percentage point for most damage above character/rank average, most elims, least deaths, healing above character/rank average, most time capping points or anything else considered good play.

This way, you may lose 20 in a few games in a row, but if you perform well, don’t throw, give up or tilt too hard, you can soften the blow, gain a few extra percentage points and feel like you can actually progress by playing well.

Something very similar to this used to exist, and was removed for a reason.
