Well I suppose that sorta explains why he told Ingrid “Don’t worry, you won’t even be able to tell my new arm from my old one!” then proceeded to make a literal monster claw.

True. Unless Torb uses his robot arm as a tool to help him with his crafts.
Like one of those doo-dads that holds parts into place either attach something or drill into it.
I don’t know my tools, but Torb does.
