It is a big mistake making Lucio mains grind Quick play for the new support. Moira mains will be mad too. All of us supports will DPS like crazy on the new Warzone players that don’t know a boop from a lock on beam. It will be carnage. My support winrate in the beta was over 60%. At the moment it is nearly 70% in comp and I’m barely trying.
Go on remove a tank! That will do nicely. And remove all shields.

Its always the Lucio mains that think they’ll do everything faster.
Why would Lucio and Moira players be upset at this, don’t you relish a chance to show that supports are not as easy as the DPS players think they are.
I think it will be fun as hell watching people get their ego’s checked.

I meant that support mains are gonna feel mad that they have to grind for their new hero while the other roles don’t. In terms of Warzone players trying out the support role to beat the queue times I agree, it is gonna be a blood bath.

As a fellow support main I concur. I hate having a new support behind a paywall, but Blizzard wont care.

I mean, I think everyone knows that having the role which has the least heroes, which has been waiting the longest be the one to have their hero locked is total booty.
I EXPECT it is because Blizzard wants it to be shown at it’s best, and they think the supports will both be the ones which are most likely to actually grind for a new hero (because of above), have been shown to pay more than other roles for things (because pink mercy) and also by having them do this, they are likely to have the best queue times for launch.
There is a lot of good reasons for Blizzard to do what they did, but it also doesn’t exactly feel fair.
A total Blood bath. The last time I have seen a bloodbath likely on this scale was when Moth happened.
Everyone else though “Mercy it will be easy” and when they got on the hero, the mains just ruined them, and gained a rank or two in a week.
It is something which the people saying “Mercy players got a couple of free ranks” was that they were still in competition with other people ON THE SAME HERO.
For every Mercy player going up in SR, there was a person who wasn’t a main going down when they tired to use the hero 
It was just crazy how much they clowned on everyone else.

Oh how tragic we’re forced to play Lucio but buffed from OW1 and with 1 less incoming damage source so now our healing is more valuable

…you’re suggesting the matchmaker will put new & experienced players together which will likely happen initially but just like in OW1, it’ll quickly adjust most players based of their stats in-game…
