Just had a game with a Hog one-trick who carried his weight in the match, and we won in the end. but one of our other tanks (we had a total of 3) was whining nonstop every time we lost a fight that Hog is to blame, and cursing at him to swap to a healer.
He could have swapped himself but he refused to, he simply blamed hog 24/7 and wouldn’t stop typing and typing and typing.
Don’t be this guy, and if you see this kind of guy, do us all a favor and report HIM instead.
Wow, sounds like youre describing one particular guy in the forums whos in bronze that complains about how he cant climb but refuses to listen to peoples advice, although he says he does. He posted a video one time of his gameplay and spent most game typing how their team lost already, saying how the enemy was full of smurf gods, when they actually were terrible. Im glad ingame typing doesnt exist on consoles.
Lol, I can say that it wasn’t some forums guy. I’m high gold, and this guy I’ve never seenon the forums. but there have been so many people like this, it’s so upsetting
I would never report you for your bad words, only reporting you for playing D.Va, even if we win and you carry, cause she was nerfed and I believe she is a throw pick regardless
I adamantly refuse to use voice chat in Overwatch any longer. I’ve listened to enough profanity and death threats to ever do so again.
I frequently turn chat off. But I occasionally type stuff. When I do, one of two things happen: people say I’m AFK and that they are going to report me. Or people ignore the text.
Yeah I agree. We should be focusing on reporting people who are throwing a temper tantrum rather than the ones who we think “suck” or whom we have disagreements of opinion.
I had one game where a guy was literally REEEEE-ing in his microphone throughout the entirety of our match because of my perceived poor performance as a healer (I threw one damage orb as Moira to set him off, plus I genuinely think he was on some type of illegal drug). Unfortunately, my team members voted on me to be the scapegoat for our loss, and I was told I was being reported because of disagreeing with some strategy. I honestly can’t remember what it specifically was, but they falsely accused me of throwing, as our REEEEEE-ing Reinhardt charged straight forward into a Bastion that was looking dead at him and got melted instantly. Then I hear “WHERE WAS MY HEALING? REEEEEEEE!” I would’ve muted the guy if it wasn’t so damn funny to watch how everything was playing out. I felt like I was in a Looney Tunes cartoon.
But yeah, our reports are votes. If you want to try and vote out the person that doesn’t play whatever meta you want, and want to side with the person hurling abuse left and right throughout the match, don’t be surprised if more abusive people start cropping up as the more civilized players can’t stand being harassed or falsely banned over a nonissue.
Well Im gonna report you again for abuse because Im offended by the accusation that you think that Im abusing the report system, even though I totally am.
