I will never judge someone by what their final rank was last season

because I have been playing comp for these last few days and it is SR suicide to be playing comp at this time. to those brave individuals who play it I SALUTE YOU. and now I will never judge someone by where they ranked at the end of a season just because of how bad comp is at this time in its life cycle

You’re one in a million my friend. Omegalul.

Trying to make the climb to masters before it’s over…

you will end up back in plat don’t, I am the same but with diamond (I was masters but gave up on comp a long time ago because of how stupid it is and don’t give a crap about comp anymore) but I was safely in 2900 for entire season but last few days I am almost gold

I’ve been playing plenty and have been inching along. Not worried about falling to plat as I’ll just get it back if I do

No difference between playing at beginning, middle, or end of season. If you think the game is out to get you and make you lose SR, just think about how irrational that argument is. Every game has 6 winners and 6 losers. So if you always lose, someone else is always winning. Your SR suicide is someone else’s SR gain.

Thanks for the salute but… someone has to win if someone else loses.

So are you essentially saying that you play worse at end of season?

Preach. I already quit this season, but the matchmaking was absolutely bonkers last time I played, probably because of all the new accounts.

30% win rate, lost 600SR from my placement at 1818. First season for me so inexperience is an issue of course, but in Bronze the quality of play is so varied its unreal. There’ve been plat quality snipers or reapers (ha!) that can solo carry and bloat my SR unfairly, but when 6 similarly skilled players actually try and coordinate we end up playing worse than when we get lucky with a smurf :’)

Ah well, there’s always next season!
