I was wrong about blizzard

I was one of the banned players for having cricket as my provider. I had 0 faith in Blizzard, and was very vocal in my complaints to them.

Somehow, Blizzard has taken accountability and improved the SMS issue. I commend them for this. While it is still not perfect (new accounts and those not linked to Battle.net), Blizzard has listened to feedback and made CHANGES. I hope they do more to help other players get in, and the issue is not fully resolved. But there is hope now! This is the Blizzard I liked.

Thank you to all the other annoyed fans for joining the cause and making the issues known. I am so happy I will get to try out the game.

They shouldn’t be commended for fixing something they failed to properly take into consideration and fully plan out.

It should never even have happened in the first place, as they were fully aware they were about to alienate a major part of OW community by doing so, in a freaking multiplayer game.

Who cares even if you can somehow join the game you’ll enter and find out how much of it was ruined.

1 decent decision (at the behest of massive outcry) does not forgive them for all the terrible decisions they’ve made over the years, the blizzard scandal wasnt that long ago my how everyone forgets and forgives so easily these days

Nope! But there is hope.

I still think the game will crash, but whatevs

…to be fair, they’ve probably seen lower player-counts than they expected and are panicking a little…

Whilst I agree with the SMS verification for ‘new’ accounts I think the requirement for existing accounts was a little silly, especially accounts with hundreds of hours playtime on them…
