As you can see in the title, I was suspended without reason.
I received suspensions before this, but in each case, the reasons for suspension were given.This time, no reason was given in my email, nor was the date of removal given. I didn’t get a perm ban.
I felt like I was pushed away like nothing happened. At least I can learn the reason for the penalty and take action accordingly.
Join the club. No one will believe you and will lecture you that you must have done something wrong despite blizzards report system having been broken for well over a year.
You can contact support and hope they reply. Otherwise enjoy your suspension and hopefully you can find another game that treats you better.

Blizzard strikes again it seems
I was silenced for no reason a month ago. Now this punishment would overflow the glass.
At most, I told my teammate that he was playing like a bot, and i was momentarily angry, which I think was very normal.
I also trolled a qp match as lifeweaver once. Is this a reason for my account to be suspended?
unless you said things like slurs while angry there’s no reason to be suspended there…
Someone probably didnt like what you said or did and weaponized the broken and sensitive report system to get you banned. So best you can do is shoot them a support ticket, and tell them that you didnt get the email with the details of your suspension. If you get a response, dont bother thinking you’ll be able to appeal the suspension, as in the ticket they’ll tell you that theyve “confirmed” the violation and that they will uphold it. At least you’ll know for how long they suspended you though.
Same happened to me, thats how I know.
This is my 6th penalty, I think the penalty cycle has been reset because I deposited money into the game.
Before this, I was banned for 2 months, but I deserved it
.Now we get banned for the smallest things. I think I’ll turn off the in-game chat completely and continue playing only with pre.
Trust me, they don’t give paying players any extra treatment.
Good luck. At least if your chat is off and you still get suspended you have a reason to appeal for it, however, people are still going to harass you in this post very soon. Would suggest muting this thread and not reading it since it’ll only tilt you further
The typical things that get people banned are for
1 ) Spamming voicelines.
2 ) Giving opinions.
3 ) Overly chatty.
4 ) Lecturing people.
5 ) RDM’ing (PK’ing players clear away from objective). ie hyper-focusing an opponent.
6 ) typing in chat
7 ) spamming character selection screen. (The person that thinks it is funny to repeatedly select a hero).
The best thing to do is turn off chat.
Turn all and any 3rd party software that effects your headset, mouse or keyboard.

Man I can wrap my head around all the other stuff you listed being reportable, but how is killing; in a game where the main activity you do is killing, reportable.
its Activision, and yes. This is not a “hardcore game”. Think the episode of spongebob and what they call season 3 Episode 48 lol.
I remember when this all started, it was due to bad press from the fallout of Moonguard in World of warcraft and how that server has earned an infamous badge for being a tank full of (redacted) and (redacted). 
So blizzard had to pretend like they do something about toxicity and “gamer culture”.
The same thing applies to putting leaver penalties into an unranked mode.
The people that ARE the problems, caused the leaver problems!
This game flatout stinks. and yes. its one of those games that punishes a player for playing the game. kinda sad. but its all on purpose.
to answer your question its a form of “griefing” to repeatedly hyper-focus and attack one specific player vs an objective. I was reading an external forum on this. and it would amaze you what is really reportable offenses in this game. To consider what overwatch really is about, and what it is not. The report system shows 1st hand that about everything out there is considered “Toxic” gameplay.
Sadly this is nothing new, as has been pointed out. Last suspension I got I had to send 2 appeals to even be told what the reason was.
Try and be cordial, direct, and send the shortest appeal possible. This gives you the best chance an actual person looks at your case. Even then, you’ll likely need multiple appeals to get a non-bot response. Sad state of CS indeed.
But yeah. Stay out of all chat comms, don’t spam any voice lines, and your account probabaly won’t get wacked again. I say probabaly because the report system is so automated and easy to abuse, its hardly a guarantee. 
Welcome to the club once banned once you will start getting suspended over and over even over normal chats that MIGHT sound offensive. so better keep that mouth shut and not use the chat system at all.
The irony is that Blizzard is a corrupt corporation, whose employees caused real harm and damage to people, is trying to tell me what is “right or wrong” because a 4-stack decided to report me for having the name ‘MrDink.’ It’s a character from the hit TV show ‘Doug.’ You know, Bud Dink.
I truly believe Blizzard fired most of their staff and replaced them with Chat-GPT. Hence all the incompetence.

Yep, im having the same problem. Recently got suspended for no reason at all. Most likely team reported me last match cuz i didn’t want to switch hero in open q but thats what open q is for, to play heroes you feel like.
Pretty sure their system is super bad and it just collects reports. So one day after all your bans for 1-2 months they will ban you perma if you collect them reports again and you cant do anything with it cuz people report you for no reason.
The worst is that cheaters can run this game for months and not get banned but you will be perma banned cuz you didn’t switch hero or said something in a chat. While game is close to dying they will make it dead
Do not spend money on this game. After few penalties they will perma ban you and wont even care if you paid or not
I feel like the plan is too increase permabans so OW1 players have to grind again. They probably hated giving us “free” skins with account transfers.
