I was super excited for new Hero Tracking website but

When I went to the page the only option for tracking hero win rates and pick rates was for the Role Queue version of the game.

It’s very clear that Blizzard has given up on 6v6 at this point. It hasn’t received any balance changes in 4 seasons, and now the new tracking website doesn’t even include the mode in it.

I only play 6v6, so the stats for 5v5 don’t mean much to me. I’d like to see what the stats are for the game mode I play. And I’d like for them to at least try to do some balance changes for the mode.

It’s just sad that there is a steady player base that plays 6v6 and Blizzard could clearly care less about them.

It’s a side mode. I never thought they would make consistent balance changes for multiple modes. Well, other than stadium since that it pretty much its own game, not just a player count change. Haven’t some changes had different values for 5v5 vs 6v6? Or was that multiple seasons ago.

It’s possible that we get additional tabs for 6v6 further down the line. Honestly, though, I’d like ban rates to be included above all else.

Ban rates are not much different than WR/PR….only REALLY useful for the people that have to decide where to make changes….for players it’s just argument fodder…

Like how useful is it to me really knowing that hero has a PR of whatever….or that they have WR of 46….if I have a WR if 60 on them…people have 1 tricked their way to top 500 before in “terrible” heroes

I’d like it if there were actual stats on there. Dmg, healing, k/d ratios…stuff that I can compare my actual play to.

I miss the old OWL site where I could look at how entire compositions performed. Get an idea of who works against what

The current stat page is not really informative

Well, yeah, all the information is there just for discussion’s sake, so we might as well include ban rates, too. Especially since ban rates affect pick rates (well, I assume, anyway).

Stats like damage/healing per ten minutes etc. aren’t really important either since they vary depending on what goes on in the match. Against one comp I might be pulling higher damage/healing numbers because of tanks that take constant damage to the face, while in another comp I might do significantly less due to (say) Sigma being around instead. Same with accuracy stats.

I agree with you that they should have 6v6 as a separate page. I don’t think it’s because they’re ignoring 6v6, but rather that the stats page is the most lazy job they could possibly have done. It looks like a 1 month intern project and now the intern left.

They have so many stats and this is all they give us. Even important things, which they have presented in their videos, such as ban-rates per hero, are missing.

They could at least have aimed to provide the information we used to get on overbuff as a basic minimum such as damage/10 and so on. But that was beyond them.

Adding 6v6 stats now that they have the page template should be trivial - just adding a new API to fetch those instead of the 5v5 stats and presenting them on the same page template. But again, this is the absolute laziest, bare minimum they could have done to give us stats. I’t pathetic really.
