junker queen and roadhog have a tonne of history but since there is only one tank per team now sadly that is gone, i mean its still better to have only one tank per team but its a shame we wont be able to hear them talk like we will her and junkrat(excited about that)
same with her and wrecking ball, they have a history and could have interesting conversations

lol true i am so hyped to play as her, i mean i expect roadhog to have more self tankiness(depending on how strong her passive is) but she is going to be such a pain to the enemy team with her bleed effects, that said i am still not entirely sure how she tanks apart from her 1 ability which is kinda like brig’s ult
That’s another reason why I hope they keep in a 6v6 mode alongside the default 5v5 modes; so that important lore banter like that can be preserved.
And I really don’t think it’d be that hard to have a 6v6 mode with simple modifiers like “-20% tank health” and “-20% shield/bubble/defense matrix/breather health”. That would at the very least be a serviceable enough compromise for folks like me who like how 6v6 is right now and are really wary of 5v5 as a concept.

Did they confirm that those modes were still gonna be in Overwatch 2?
Cause honestly, with how they supercharged the tanks in that game to make up for only one tank, I don’t know how open queue would end up working out at all. No reason not to just have everyone go tanks instead of DPS.
QPC was added halfway through the beta, so I assume Open Queue will still be there once they add Competitive.

…in the first beta even their menus were just like…placeholders. I’m expecting this next beta to have a lot more added.

that is my concern tbh, time will tell they did say they had a lot of new voice lines though
