Is it possible to create a new account on the same email or do I have to create a completely different email to do it? Btw its not to smurf its to play healer instead of dps in comp.
can you not do that on your main acc? v confused

The MMR discrepancy would make that not ideal for him or his team. But he COULD.

I can, but I want to completely main support so that I can learn the role better and so that it seperetes my support play and my dps play in there own rank that they deserve.

You’re better off finding a group and playing support for them in QP. You’ll get a structured experience to learn the ins and outs of the role. You already have game sense at your level. You just need the right practice environment to learn mechanics and fundamentals.
Separate emails required. I just bought my daughter an account so it’s fresh in my mind.

I think all the supports teach you something.
Mercy teaches you target priority and positioning
Lucio helps you see whats happening and how to handle a situation
Ana helps you get better at aiming and seeing how much impact you can have
Moira helps you learn how to balance and learn timing
Zen helps…if you like to DPS, but need to heal and target priority and shotcalling
Brig helps you…in some way.

You could ask Blizzard support, but I would guess you would have to create a completely different email. Not difficult to do. You can make a gmail in 2 minutes.

Brigitte does not help. I just picked her up because she is about to be nerfed six feet under and despite doing relatively well, rallying teams to me (I guess it teaches tanking because they all expect me to lead the charge, even some of the Rein) the only thing I learned about properly supporting is “oh, so that is why people complain about DPS mains.” I love her though.
I love Brig too. She does teach you the impact you can have and that there is a support for everyone, but she doesn’t teach you something you can bring to other heroes and is more of a moral boost.

Ana is a really good choice! I played her for a couple months after the nerf to Mercy.
I was doing that (learning Ana) on my support account. But then Widow maps were coming up and they were too good to pass up and my support account climbed to where my main was… What a fail. I do not want to level 25 times again just for supporting when I suck at it. 
Ana and Moira have the best voicelines. Maybe in the whole game.
My main accoiunt is a dps/flex and I think over time imma make a support account, tank account, and for fun a genji 1 trick… yea i really just typed that.
