I want to be a flex player

Since OW2, I’ve barely played anybody besides widow. I’ve started playing Juno. Played some Ashe, though not lately. (If I’m going to pick Ashe, I’d rather pick Widow.)

Basically, I want to get better at Rein, so I can bring the hammer down.

Been there and done that. It is just lame because once you start getting DPS or support queues, you realize you just wanted to play Reinhardt all along. The only reason to waste your time with “queue all roles” is for the Battle Pass progression.

You will bend over for others to counter them and you will love it. But don’t stop playing what you like too, this game is about fun after all.

I’ve never understood the appeal of Widow. You can click heads in any FPS. There’s nothing engaging there to me.

There’s so much diversity in types of heroes you can play and things you can do, it just strikes me as strange.

Its like going to a cool buffet with a ton of unique dishes, and you get the same thing you eat every night at home anyway. Thats Widow to me in this game.

Well, if you play openQ, you’ll generally be filling 1st/2nd support or tank nearly all the time. If you play roleQ, you pretty much jstu need to get used to playing a few heroes per role.

I suppose that’s true. I’ve always been drawn to ranged play styles, and widow can be a lot of fun if I’m doing well. Then again, the accent might have something to do with it. :wink:

Play Mystery Heroes. It makes you way better at the game overall. That’s my go-to mode, and I hit GM1 on every role in RQ comp in S8 before the first rank reset. Wearing the Shapeshifter title right now!

ive tried to be a flex player but its a pain in the rear to play support

I love Mystery Heroes! Even though I will do well on a random character, decide I really do like that character, decide I will start playing them regularly, then go to role queue and have my hopes and dreams butchered.
