Don’t you think that if you somehow could fix/buff main tanks, that the game would overall improve for every player?
I know we should get away from GOATS.
But damn I’m originally a tank main and would love to feel tanky again.
Nowadays i only play Hanzo, Mccree, Zenyatta and sometimes Hammond. I ain’t touching Reinhardt/Winston. It is just not fun anymore. Heck the whole game aint really fun for me anymore!
Do you watch the pro scene or are at all aware what the high tier meta comps currently are? There’s definitely no need to buff main tanks right now
Hello? Yes they do. Rein & Winston are just the only ones that needs some buffs atm. Other main tanks are fine.

Orisa is the go to main tank nowadays and the last thing she needs is a buff.
It sounds more like the OP no longer thinks that tanks are fun, it has nothing to do with OWL
I do, tanks are always needed. Doesnt mean that fact that the game is played by us the players. And be honest who likes to be main tank in OW comp?
Why is that? Because her shield is actually good, after her shield is gone she has another defense ability. Orisa is the only tank that feels like?!?!?!?! A tank.
Tanking has been eating crow the longest time. The last spit on tanks face was the knockback patch and the massive CC increase.
By the way, goats has a crapton of CC, so you managed to make tanking the seventh circle of hell and buff the meta. Congratulations.

Introducing role stacking limits would make this game far easier to balance. And it would make tanks, actual tanks again.

yes tanks need help. So do the non-Ana supports.
They are only played because of creating space. And that is it.
Idk why people think tanks and supports should match the usage and winrate of a dps. It doesnt work that way. Their categories are half the size as Damage.
That means if they are seeing as much play as a DPS they are currently disposable.
If the tank and support roster was bigger, then those statistics would’ve made sense, not with how things are rn.
