I do know a way to counter him as reaper too (I am a reaper and roadhog main btw). You Lshift shadow form thingy up to him so he can’t hit you, get so close that you are touching him and move around in a circle around him. They usually can’t turn their head fast enough to hit you.
He’s a noobstomper that is trash once you learn how to play the game.
For me that is a perfectly fine niche. He should never rise to prominence, ever.

Sigma, Mei, Junkrat, Doomfist, and that’s just a few counters for him.
Sigma - is self explanatory.
Mei - put the Wall in front of him… not from Left to right <—> but position it so that every Ice Pillar is in front of the Barrel.
Junkrat - just learn how to Arc Grenades, or bounce them around corners, or my favorite, Suicide bomb him, Use both Landmines to launch up and over him and Barriers, land in the middle of the group, drop Bear trap and blow Grenades into him. Trap will snag him or a healer, and when their team kills you, Total Mayhem Passive will take care of the rest.
Doomfist - Also self explanatory.
My Bastion knows that trick.

Ya, his charge up takes to long, by the time it’s fully charged, he’s probably already dead.
Not to mention that Punch doesn’t take him out of turret form despite having the same mechanics as charge.

in levels where Bastions is “OP” yeah… he does. Yes in higher brackets no, a Well played Bastion would beat him, but no one plays Bastion in those levels because so many Heroes counter him.
What the hell does the doom even do? None of his abilities do so much as make bastion budge. If anything Bastion counters him

Bastion I think does counter Doomfist. Because he can shoot him in the air and during charge, I also think bastion is hitscan.
Bastion is literally useless lmao.

Also I am around level 70, so I am in the lower tiers to where Bastion is a big problem.

it’s not “moving him”, it’s getting on top of him. Do you know the easiest way to 1v1 a bastion when your not a counter, get in his face and circle him as you lay rounds into him. Hell I kill Bastions with this method as Baby D.Va. So someone who gains passive defense from using their abilities “should” easily do it.
so does literally every hero in the game counter him? Cause doomfist is one of the worst at doing this against bastion.

That’s what I do most of the time when playing Reaper.
Fine since you feel that it’s not possible, it still doesn’t detract that he easily is countered. If anything he needs to be reworked into a Viable hero for all tiers.
I would very much like a rework, in my opinion at his current stage he’s a bit over powered at my level.
As a diamond player people complaining about Bastion confuses me.
